The substance of the Tribunal’s findings or conclusions concerning the Initial Redistribution Proposal and any objections can be found on the Redistribution website: www.lcredistribution.tas.gov.au Due to changes to boundaries around the Hadspen-Perth area, the Tribunal is of the opinion this Further Proposal is significantly different from the Redistribution Committee’s Initial Redistribution Proposal. Accordingly, any person or organisation may lodge with the Tribunal a written comment, suggestion or objection by post, email, facsimile or online at the redistribution website. Submissions will be placed on the Redistribution website unless they contain a specific request to the contrary. Subject to section 18(3) of the Act the Tribunal will hold an inquiry into further objections. Objections must be lodged by 5pm on Monday 10 April 2017. Where practicable, facilities for testing alternative scenarios – consisting of computer software and a trained operator – will be made available in Moonah to persons wishing to make a comment, suggestion or objection during the seven-day period. Appointments may be made online at the redistribution website or through the Executive Officer.
