How do I place an order?
Steps to place your first order:
For new users: You need to create a Rediff Shopping ID by signing up on RediffShopping homepage. You can use your Rediffmail ID or use any other email ID fromother email service providers to register with us and place an order through RediffShopping
For existing users :
1. Click on Sign in found on the top of Rediff Shopping homepage2. Browse and find products you would like to buy3. Add the products to your shopping cart4. Proceed to check out5. Sign inwith your Rediffmail shopping ID ( if you haven't already)6. Add or update your shipping address7. Provide payment details8. Review and submit your order9. Check your order status
Find products using search or browse
1. Search for Products
To search for a product of your choice, just enter the name of the product orcategory in the search text box present on the top of Rediff Shopping Homepageand click on Search.
The page that will follow will give you the desired results along with a choice tosort in ascending or descending order as per the price range.
2. Browse products by category
On Rediff Shopping homepage, you can find all shopping categories listed belowthe search text box.
Just click on View All Categories link at the far right corner of these listedcategories and explore the products of your choice.

3. Find a specific product
You can type the name of the specific product on the Search text box or browsethrough specific categories to which the product must belong to find the specificproduct.
4. Find a branded product
To search for a branded product of your choice, just enter the name of theproduct and brand or category and brand in the search text box present on thetop of Rediff Shopping Homepage and click on Search.
The page that will follow will give you the desired results along with a choice tosort in ascending or descending order as per the price range.
5. Find more information on the product
All products provided by various vendors on the site are displayed with the itemdescription relating to measurements, weight, features etc. provided by thevendor and the shoppers are requested to view the details and place an orderaccordingly.
Check warranty information on the product
It is advisable to review whether the product you are buying has an expresswarranty.
Certain products on the site carry a warranty period, which will be mentioned atthe product page, and the vendors will adhere to it.
Review Shipping fees and Octroi charges
1. Total shipping cost for products worth less than Rs 300 is Rs 50
2. Total shipping cost for products worth from Rs 300 . Rs 499 is Rs 603. Total shipping cost for products worth from Rs 500 . Rs 999 is Rs 704. Total shipping cost for products worth Rs 1000 and more is Rs 995. For products bought using cash on delivery (COD) as a payment option there is
an additional shipping charge of Rs 25 for metro cities and Rs 50 for non-metrocities
6. Certain products may be levied with Octroi charges which need to be paid by theshopper at the time of the delivery. Octroi charges are state government levied

Mode of Refund
For all products cancelled and/or returned, you will be given a credit for the same amount you
have already paid. A refund is processed based on the mode of payment.
1. Credit cards: Refunds are done back to the credit card itself2. Net banking: Refunds are done to the bank account you made the payment from3. Cash On Delivery/Cheques/Demand Drafts: Refunds are done in the form of cheque,
which will be delivered to your billing address.

How to return a product?
For products that are defective, damaged, or 'not-as-described':
You must call or drop in a mail at [email protected] within 2 days on receipt ofyour product
You will need to provide your name, email ID, telephone or mobile number and order ID for
registering your complaint You will need to return the unused product along with its original packaging with all the
items included with the product within 7 days of registering your complaint.
Non - refundable products
There are certain products which cannot be returned, these include:
Flowers, Chocolates, Cakes, Mithais, Dry fruits, Vegetables, Food, Other perishable items,
Lingerie and Innerwear.
We advise you not to accept delivery of such products that are damaged or not-as-described by
the seller. In case of you receiving spoiled edible products you must call or drop in a mail within
2 days on receipt of your product so we can help resolve the problem. Products that do not applyto any warranty and/or return policy will be made specific in the product details section.

How are refunds processed?
1. Once your refund complaint is processed the customer care team will inform you by
email2. A refund is processed based on the mode of payment.3. If payment is done using Credit card then the amount is refunded to the credit card itself
and will feature in the following monthly billing statement.4. If the payment is done using Net banking as a payment then the amount is refunded to
the bank account.5. If payment is done using either Cash on delivery, Cheques and Demand drafts, then the
amount is refunded in the form of cheque, which will be delivered to the billing address.
