Day 2 Hike Turtle Wall to Anasazi Petroglyphs

heres the turtle

and his buddy the elephantYes, I have something on the lens.

There were hundreds of petroglyphs made by the Anasazi over 800 years ago here are a few.

Ram clan drawings on the left.

Very busy petroglyph but notice the well endowed dude just above the grass

This is Cicada clan. Looks like an alien to me.

This large slab is positioned so that during the solstice, the suns rays cross the exact middle; lighting this travelers way.

and then there were the flowersDesert Bird of Paradise

This is a native labyrinth or spiral walk, used in meditation and spiritual ceremonies. Spa buildings in background.

You know it was a great trip when youre still stoked about it a week after you get back.
