275 Linux servers

Vast majority were Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

Very progressive Ruby development that was being limited by RHEL5

Transition

Rolled out RHEL6 beta for some applications in September last year

RHEL6 stable released in November. Upgraded everything from beta to stable

Remaining servers are all being transitioned

Assign RAM/CPU resources to processes

RHEV-H and RHEV-M

Bare metal install virtualisation platform

Horrible management platform…
