To the parents and students of Red Cliffs Primary School,

This Friday, 28th August, is PRINCIPAL’S DAY.

It is an opportunity to recognise the valuable leadership provided at our school and a

chance to thank Mr Beer and his staff for all they do for us and our school. I am sure

Mr Beer’s job is made easier by the fantastic support he has from all of his staff and the

students themselves. So, to Mr Rod Beer - THANK YOU for everything you do.

Please parents take the opportunity today to thank Mr Beer (and all staff) for the

fantastic work they do for our “kids” and OUR school.

Now a bit of a profile on our principal; Mr Beer has been principal of our school for 11

years. He was also formerly the principal at Merbein West and Koorlong PS. He has

taught at Cardross PS and Geelong Grammar and was a district reliever teacher.

Overall, Mr Beer has taught at more that 150 schools in a distinguished career that spans

36 years!

Mr Beer enjoys helping children and working with parents and staff - something I am

sure you will agree, he excels at.

Mr Beer is married to another school teacher her name is Mrs Beer (of course).

Her real name is Maria and they have two beautiful daughters, Maddie and Amelia.

Mr Beer’s hobbies include golf, walking, bike riding and umpiring football. He does

love his holidays too and his Sydney Swans. Something that links his hobbies with his

work is the BEER CUP which I am sure you are familiar with.

Once again Mr Beer we say a heartfelt THANK YOU.
