The recruitment is more focused on officers As a result of 6th pay commission willingness
to join Indian army is high amongst youth. All the channels of promotion are in place
already No financial constraints in terms of meeting
expenses of recruitment Recruitment goes throughout the year

Owned by central Govt. Budget allocation is made by govt. of India All the policies are centrally developed and are
uniform throughout the country Large population of country provides huge pool
of potential candidates Infrastructure in terms of supporting/ ancillary
orgn. (NCC, NDA,IMA,OTA,SSB) is in place.
