Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research(SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous Institution under, Department of Empowerment for Persons withDisabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. It is one of thepremier Institute of its kind in the Country and the main objectives of the Institute are HumanResource Development to undertake, sponsor or co-ordinate training of personnel such asDoctors, Engineers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Multipurpose RehabilitationTherapists and such other personnel for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. Instituteconducts short term/long term courses in the field which are affiliated to Utkal University,Bhubaneswar. The Institute has been setup to serve the differently abeled persons to undertakeany action in the area of rehabilitation of the Persons with Disabilities and is facilitated with 100bedded hospital to treat the needy, poor and differently abled (Divyangjan) section of the society.

SVNIRTAR is looking for dedicated persons with drive, willingness, missionary zeal andcommitment for the following posts to be filled up on direct recruitment.

1. Anaesthetist No. of post-01, Group-A, Category-UR,Age- Below 40 years

Pay scale Pay Matrix Level-11 (as per 7tnCPC)Essential qualification & i. MS (Anaesthesiology).experience ii. 3 years experience after Post-graduation.

2. Lecturer No. of post-01, Group-A, Category-UR,Age- 30 years

Pay scale Pay Matrix Level-10 (as per 7tnCPC)

Essential qualification & MBBS Degree.experience MS (Orthopaedics) desirable qualification.

3. Typist/Clerk No. of post-04, Group-C, (Category -OBC-1, SC-1, UR-2)(Hindi & English) Age- 27 years.Pay scale Pay Matrix Level-2 (as per 7tnCPC)

Essential qualification & i. 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board orexperience University.

ii. A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w. p.m. in Hindi onmanual typewriter or A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30w.p.rn. in Hindi on computer.

ii. In case where no Desirable Qualification or Experience is required as per respective RRs,100% weightage will be given to Written Test.

iii. In case where either desirable qualification or experience is required as per RRs, 90%weightage will be given to Written Test and 10% weightage for desirable qualification orexperience.

Assignment of marks in case of Desirable Qualification/Desirable Experience in theRecruitment Rules

Other Terms: Candidates must have to deposit Application Fees @ Rs.500/- by General/OBCCategory and @ Rs.250/- by SC/ST Categories in shape of Demand Draft drawn only on SBI orIndian Bank along with prescribed application form (Fees- Non-refundable). Demand Draftshould be made in favor of "Director SVNIRTAR" payable at CUTTACK. Selected candidates willbe initially posted at SVNIRTAR, Olatpur, Cuttack, Odisha. However, they are liable to betransferred to anywhere in India. The date for determining age limit will be the last date forreceipt of ttie application. The post carries other allowances at par with Government of IndiaRules. Other benefits including LTC, Medical Reimbursement etc. will be admissible at par withGovernment of India Rules. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & PwD will be as per Govt. of Indiarules. Age relaxation for departmental candidates/employees working in Central/AutonomousBodies and Ex-Servicemen will be as per Govt. of India rules. Number of posts may vary basedon actual requirement at the time of appointment. Candidates already in service (Govt. /QuasiGovt.lPSU/Autonomous Bodies) must apply through proper channel.

Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest a right ina candidate for being called for interview. The institutereserves the right to call for Written Testonly those candidates who in its opinion are found to be suitable for the post. Canvassing in anyform will disqualify candidate. SC/ST/PwD Candidates (not in Govt. Service) called for writtentest/computer test will be paid to and fro single second class train/bus fare by shortest route onproduction of train/bus tickets as per rules. The Institute reserves the right to cancel all theadvertisements or part thereof without assigning any reason.
