My work is to call candidates daily for coming up for an interview.

On first 15 days recruitment for SMIT(store manager in training) post
1) We called the candidates eligible for the post of store manager in training.
• Eligibility criteria:-fresher’s with retail management degree.
Total number of candidates appeared was 15
2) Candidate being called came for the test and those who cleared the test was being given P.I test.
3) Candidates who cleared the test was 9.
4) After they clear the test they was being called for the final round interview.

On Next 15 Days recruitment for the SM(store manager ) post
1) We called the applicants eligible for the post of store manager
• Eligibility criteria:-Experience for 2 years or fresher with degree in retail.
Total number of candidates appeared was 20
2) Candidates being called came for the test and those who cleared the test was being allowed to give P.I test.
3) Candidates who cleared the test was 12.
4) After they clear the test they was being called for the final round interview.

Next 15 Days recruitment for the ASM(assistant store manager) post
1) We called the applicants eligible for the post of ASM
• Total number of candidates appeared was 21.
1) Candidates being called came for the test and those who cleared the test was being allowed to give P.I test.
2) Candidates who cleared the test was 10.
3) After they clear the test they was being called for the final round interview.
In all aspects:- Target was being achieved.

Findings THE COMPANY SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON
CAMPUS RECRUITMENT. THEY ARE NOT HAVING TIE UPS WITH OTHER
JOB PROVIDING PORTAL OTHER THEN “NAUKRI .COM”
THEY DON’T INFORM THE CANDIDATES REGARDING RPAT TEST PRIOR.
THEY DO NOT HAVE A SEPARATE CABIN OR PLACE TO CONDUCT THE APTITUDE TEST.

THEY HAVE LESS OF COMPUTERS AS CANDIDATES WAITS FOR FULL DAY DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF COMPUTERS.
THEY DON’T BELIEVE IN SAVING THEIR AS WELL AS CANDIDATES TIME.
CANDIDATES SOME TIMES ARE BEING CALLED AGAIN N AGAIN WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE OR HAVE NOT CLEARED THE TEST.

Recommendations
THEY SHOULD WORK ON TO INCREASE THE SALARY PLAN.
THEY SHOULD PROVIDE THE CANDIDATE WITH SEPARATE PLACE TO GO FOR THE TEST.
THE OFFICE SHOULD BE IN SOME REACHABLE PLACE AS I FOUND THAT THE FEMALE CANDIDATES WERE NOT INTERESTED BECAUSE THE OFFICE WAS IN FAR FLUNG AREA.
THEY SHOULD GO FOR MANUAL RPAT TEST AS IT SAVES THE CANDIDATES AS WELL AS THE ORGANISATION TIME.

Conclusion
I CONCUDED THAT THE RELIANCE RETAIL IS SUCH A BIG ORGANISATION BUT SOME WHERE THEY ARE LACKING EITHER AT THE PART OF RECRUITMENT OR AT THE PART OF STORE MANAGERS OR OTHER MANAGERS. BUT IF THEY WILL DO AMENDMENTS REGARDING THESE THINGS THEN THEY CAN BE NO1 IN RETAIL SECTOR.
