Recruiting for multiple brands or businesses presents unique challenges/decisions such as: centralized vs. decentralized recruiting department, universal vs. diversified recruiting messaging, and so on. In some cases the parent company/brand is well-known and the “subsidiary” brands are unknown, In other cases, the reverse is true. Either way adds to the challenges of recruiting in a multi-brand environment. Mary Kay Baldino heads up the recruiting function for Outerwall. You are probably familiar with Redbox and Coinstar from your local supermarket. However, Outerwall is less well known, and it also operates in other businesses (cell phone recycling, for example). In this session Mary will layout the challenges of recruiting in a multibrand environment and how to address them.
