Executive Summary

The LeisLern Recreational hub offers an exciting on-campus atmosphere that encourages thetotal growth and development of its students, faculty, and staff and assists in its total wellness.Importance is given on personal fitness, fun, health, and wellness, regardless of, gender, race, orskill level.

The vision is To provide best leisure and learning activities for overall development of mindand body . The mission is To provide diverse and quality recreational services in order toimprove the quality of life on the LeisLern campus

The LeisLern Recreational hub is a partnership business where three partners Mr. Steve Aguiar,Miss Odilia Dias and Miss Oswinda Gomes will be active partners in the business and willhandle day to day activities in the business. The business location for the recreational hub is atFr. Agnel College, Pillar which is 150sq meter carpet area.

The Target audience for LeisLern will be the students of Fr. Agnel College, Pillar, evencustomers outside the college will be allowed to use the facilities but at a higher price ascompared to prices charged to the students of Fr. Agnel College.

In order to drive up utilization of the facilities provides the target customers around the centermust be aware of its existence. This will be accomplished through brochures and flyers inaddition various competitions will be held for the students as a part of the marketing strategy. Inaddition to the targeted advertising, discounts will be provided for college students onmembership.

To establish this business the investments is around 14 lakhs including the cost of machinery andequipments. The sourcing of funds is done through partner s capital as each partner contributes 5 lakhs and 5 lakhs as bank loan for the period of 5 years.

With our unique features, services, and amenities the company will be truly successful ingenerating growth, revenue, and independent for all it s the initial borrower.

Introduction

The LeisLern Recreational hub provides an exciting on-campus environment that is conducive tothe total growth and development of its students, faculty, and staff and assists in their totalwellness.

Emphasis is on personal fitness, fun, health, and wellness, regardless of age, gender, race, or skilllevel. Safety, security, cleanliness and responsiveness to individual needs are paramount in thehub. The programs are geared to develop an appreciation for the importance of the use of one'sleisure time. The approach is aimed at improving one s physical, emotional, intellectual, andsocial well-being.

Vision:To provide best leisure and learning activities for overall development of mind and body

Mission:To provide diverse and quality recreational services in order to improve the quality of life onthe campus

The services provided by LeisLern Recreational hub are: Music room - The instruments that will be there in the music room are

2 Guitars- Electric Guitar(1) and Acoustic Guitar(1) 2 Violins

2 Casio Keyboards 1 Drum 2 Mikes

The music room will also have mentoring facilities. The existing students who know to play theinstruments very well can help their friends and other students to learn. Bookings to use themusic room should be done 1 week in advance. Incase no customer is using the music roomstudents will be give to use it at last minute notice. Mr. Steve will supervise the room and willassist and mentor students who need help while playing the instruments.

Indoor games - The indoor games that will be provided at the hub are Pool Table, TableTennis, Foosball, Chess, Carom Board, Scrabble Board and Monopoly Board.

Computer lab - The Computer Lab will have 10 computers. Creative courses asmentioned below will be provided:

Corel Draw/ Photoshop Web designing

There will be a professional computer instructor who is going to teach and be in charge of thestudents and teach them various computer courses. The computer lab will function frommorning 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, students in the college can come and attend the course anytimeduring their college hours when they are free. Whereas for customers outside college there will

be classes after school hours.

Following is the schedule for customers who want to learn computer courses after college hours

Locker and shower facility- LeisLern Recreational hub provides locker facilities formen as well as for women. There are 25 lockers allocated for men and 25 lockersallocated for women. This hub is also well equipped with toilet facilities, showers,

dressing areas making it convenient for the members after their daily exercise. The lockerfacilities are exclusively for the college students.

Gym & Fitness center - The gym will have Treadmill (digital) Weighing scale( digital) Exercise Bike (digital) Stepper Dumbbell, leg, biceps bench Recumbent AB bench Steel dumbbells 8 pieces 2,4,8,10,12,15,20,24kg

The will be a professional gym instructor who will attend the members in the gym. The timing touse the facilities in the gym is from 6:00am-8pm.

Yoga and Zumba classes will be also provided at the following schedule:

Creative Learning Department- This department will conduct activities as suggested bystudents and members. The various activities which will be held are drawing, painting,rangoli, mehendi, cooking competition etc. The areas of student s interest will be taken intoconsideration while conducting the activities.

Business Premises

Business location: LeisLern Recreational Hub will be in Fr. Agnel Pilar College, Fr. AgnelCollege of Arts and Commerce Pilar Goa who may be creditors of the Society. This hub islocated in the capital city of Goa that is Panjim. This hub will occupy the space of 150 squaremeters of carpet area.

Lease: the LeisLern Recreational hub is in Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce Pilar whichthey are currently leasing it at 10,000/-only per month.

Management

The facility will be owned and operated by the team comprising Mr. Steve Aguiar, Miss OdiliaDias and Miss Oswinda Gomes who will take the primary responsibility of working withcontractors to design and develop the facility, and the subsequent day-to-day operationalresponsibilities.

Mr. Steve is a singer and a musician and has taken part in many singing as well as playingmusical instruments and won many prizes. He knows to play different instruments like the guitar,

violin, and keyboard. He has completed his graduation in Business Administration and knowsvery well to manage people and he will take in charge of the music room.

Miss Odilia Dias is a graduate in Business Administration and is well skilled to handle the job ofa receptionist and handle the drinks area. This job requires customer handling skills andscheduling and managing activities and Miss Odilia is well familiar with this job.

Miss Oswinda Gomes has completed her graduation in Business Administration and will bemanaging the activities in the drinks area and indoor games. This job is selling of the drinks andsupervising the day to day activities in the indoor games area.

Others hired will be 2 Computer instructors, 2 Gym instructors, 1 instructor each for Yoga and

Zumba, and 1 Cleaner.

Working hoursThe operation will run for 14 hours per day starting at 6:00am to 8:00pm, 6 days a week, for thewhole year. All the activities will be at the customer s service from Monday to Saturday, Sundaywill be a holiday. The computer classes will be going on from 8:30am to 6:00pm. The yogaclasses will be held from 6:30am to 7:30 pm. The gym, music room, indoor games will be openfrom 6:00am to 8:00pm. Zumba classes will be held from Monday to Friday in two different

batches.

This multipurpose recreational huboffers a wide variety of facilities and services to enhance their lifestyle which is available forstudents, faculty and the community.

Target AudienceThe Target audience for LeisLern will be the students of Fr. Agnel College, Pillar. It willenhance their on campus life through the diverse developmental activities. Even students outside

the college will be allowed to use the recreational hub but at a higher price.

Design & ConstructionMr. Anthony Fernandes from Verna Goa has been contracted to provide design and interiormanagement expertise. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the overall designing of theinterior like the drink area, reception area, painting, lockers, glassing filling and music room.

Mr. Mario Dsouza from Benaulim Goa has been contracted for the plumber needs. He isresponsible for the pipe line fitting and other equipment fitting in the washroom area.

Mr. Kenny Fernandes from Varca has been contracted for the electrical management in therecreational hub. He is responsible for all the electrical fitting and wiring of the hub. He will also

be responsible for CCTV installation. One camera will also be installed outside the hub to keep acloser check on who entering and exiting the hub.

Mr. Sambaji Desai will perform the interior construction phase of the project. He will beresponsible for the coordination of all labours on the project and ensuring that the project

remains on schedule and on budget. Regular reviews of the project during the design andconstruction phases will be held by the team.The above individuals are selected bases on the quality of work, efficiency of work and theteam s budget.

Marketing and Promotions Marketing for LeisLern Recreational hub can be thought of broadly in two segments:1. Awareness of the facility2. Special Events and Promotions

Awareness of the FacilityIn order to drive up utilization of the facilities provides by the hub, the direct population aroundthe center must be aware of its existence.This will primarily be accomplished through brochures and flyers.

A Grand Opening is part of the package that this hub provides. This event is specificallydesigned to raise awareness of the facility immediately. For the grand opening the guest will bespecial Goan celebrities like Miss Cecille Rodrigues who won second place in DID Super Momand Mr. Cyrus Berne who is the Voice of Goa will be invited.A Musical event in college (singing and playing musical instruments competition) will also beheld during the grand opening which will be judged by the celebs invited.In addition, first 10 members will get locker facilities free for three months.Free games in the indoor area will be promoted aggressively for 2 days after the grand opening.

Special Events and PromotionsOnce people know of the existence of the center, this advertising will turn into a reminder thatthe center is available and what activities are offered by LeisLern.Therefore, the following competitions will be held throughout the year:

Video- editing competition Table-tennis competition Body-building contest Games League: Many people enjoy playing pool and chess, and many people

participate in competitive leagues. LeisLern intend to utilize this unique marketingconcept by offering and aggressively promoting such leagues. They will be geared

primarily towards teenagers since the leagues will run during the weekdays. Therewill also be leagues for the chess and fosse ball.

Other promotional strategies will be Prizes : Coupons will be given as prizes for activities in the college. For example, in the

college whoever stands first in the entire stream will get prizes. Picnics - During the later part of the business, picnics and other events will be organized

for the members.

Membership:

The Membership fees charged on the members is Rs. 200 and is open to all college students. To be a member in LeisLern the person has to provide ID card photocopy.

The members of the club will enjoy discount on facilities, locker & shower facilities and free picnics organized by the club once a year.

The age gap for general public will be 13-28 years. Visiting card will be given to them at theentrance of the college gate. They will have fill registration details to avail the facilities of thehub. They will have to submit ID proof (license, passport etc.) and a photo also.
