The red cross that is there in place of the letter O in the word recovery is there to represent a recovery/medical sign. Relating this medical sign to the artist “Eminem” and with the title recovery it tells us that he might be recovering from an illness or maybe a drug addiction.

Here there is a picture of Eminem walking on the road. This is used to represent the fact that he is on the road to recovery, which obviously relates to the title ‘recovery’

The blue coloured sky in the background is faded which gives us the feeling that his life had previously been messed up and that he is trying to make it better.

The background is also really blurred to make the attention of the viewers go onto Eminem.

The backwards E stands for existence insisting that Eminem is alive and living.

The fact that he is walking by himself tells us that he has gone through this long and difficult process by himself and that he is almost coming to the end of this difficult time.
