The University Archives maintains both
MSU Archives: the official repository of the records of
Minnesota State University, Mankato. The Archives contains
records from the creation of the Mankato State Normal School
in 1868 to the present. Ownership of these records have been
transferred to the University Archives and are made available to
researchers.
University Records Center: the secure storage
site of temporary records. While these records are still owned
by the department, they are subject to future destruction and
not available to the public.
