To Whom It May Concern,

Daniel Wiśniewski worked at the Center for Environmental Energy Engineering at the University of Maryland from March to September 2013 as part of a student exchange program. During his six months with us, he worked on separate sensible cooling system construction and testing. He did great work for us, and we welcomed his contributions in the lab.

This project was not an easy one. Previously, several people had tried setting up this experimental unit, with poor results. Daniel worked diligently, often on weekends, to improve the system. His efforts resulted in marked improvements to the construction of the system. This sort of work would take a Ph.D. student six months to optimize. As an intern, Daniel did very well on this project in the same amount of time.

We were very pleased to have Daniel’s assistance during that phase of research, and would welcome his return if we had the opportunity to hire him again. He shows great promise, and is a very talented young engineer.

Best Regards,

Dr. Yunho Hwang Associate Research Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering Associate Director, Center for Environmental Energy Engineering [email protected]
