It  has  been  found  that  high  heat  and  engine  vibra2on  can  loosen  the  magneto  coil  bobbin  on  the  steel  lamina2on  U  stack.      When  this  happens  the  coil  can  move  back  and  forth  causing  an  open  coil  condi2on  and  an  immediate  engine  no  run/no  start  failure.        To  safeguard  from  this  happening  it’s  best  to  apply  epoxy  to  the  edges  of  the  bobbin  to  steel  contact  area  to  ensure  the  bobbin  does  not  move.        .
