MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY
Memberships that participate in the monthly bank draft
plan must complete a cancellation form available from our
Member Services desk. Cancellation forms received on or
before the 20th of the month will have their membership
expire at the end of the current month. Forms received
between the 21st and the end of the month will have one
additional draft taken and will expire at the end of the
following month. There is no refund for cancellation on
Annual Full Pay memberships.

INDOOR GROUP CYCLING
Come ride our new state-of-the-art Keiser
indoor cycle bikes. Indoor cycling is one of the
best cardiovascular endurance workouts out
there. Keiser bikes’ magnetic resistance
delivers road-bike experience and ensures a
smooth and quiet ride.
Please reserve your bike by calling Member
Services at 739-4489 ext #10 anytime day of
class. 5:15am and Saturday morning
participants may reserve a bike anytime after
2pm the day before class.
BodyPump®
A revolutionary weight training workout that
strengthens, tones and defines every muscle in
your body. Body pump is a resistance
training program that uses bar and hand
weights to burn fat and sculpt the body into
lean muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Yoga Sculpt
Introduce hand weights into your practice to
increase the impact. Combine cardio and
strengthening poses with dynamic and static
weight training. All levels welcome.
Props to Pilates
Core focused movements applied to both
standing and mat work. Various pieces of
equipment used to create new challenges that
increase strength, endurance, and improve
posture.
Insanity®
A cardio-based total body conditioning class that
will push you past your limits to get you in the
best shape possible! The class is packed with
intervals of strength, power, resistance and core
training. No equipment or weights are used.
Suitable for all levels.
P90X LIVE®
A rich variety of intense routines from cardio to
resistance training, strength training, plyometrics,
ab work and more. Using the science of Muscle
Confusion, P90X LIVE constantly switches things
up to help you bust through plateaus. “With
challenge comes change”. Suitable for all levels.
Zumba
Shake it up with this fun, energetic hip shaking
class. Classes feature exotic rhythms set to
high-energy Latin and international beats.
Power 45
This total body conditioning class that uses body
weight exercises and other equipment to build
strength, endurance, and balance. By using
interval training that combines powerful strength
and dynamic cardio moves, this class will push you
today so you are stronger tomorrow. All ability
levels welcome. Modification are provided.
HEALTHY LIVING
MIND/ BODY ACTIVE OLDER ADULT
Hatha Yoga
Vinyasa style Hatha class that links movement to
breath to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility
and reduce stress. All levels welcome.
Pilates
This highly effective conditioning method works
your whole body. Each movement emphasizes
purpose, body alignment and breathing. You will
build strength, increase flexibility and deepen
body awareness .
YogaHour®
Challenging yet doable! This flow style Hatha
class aims to build strength and increase
flexibility and balance in a playful and energized
environment. All levels welcome.
Saturday Yoga Series
Rotation of classes including: Yoga for Athletes,
Hatha Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga & Core, Yoga
Sculpt, YogaHour, Morning Yoga.
SilverSneakers® Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety
of exercises designed to increase muscular
strength, range of movement and activities of
daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic
tubing with handles and balls are offered for
resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or
standing support.
Fun Fitness Friday
Improve strength, flexibility, and joint
stability through dynamic movements using a
variety of fun equipment. This is a low-impact
class. Appropriate for active older adults,
beginners or anyone! A chair can be used for
extra support.
A.M. Stretch
This 30 minute group led class will ease muscle
tension, increase flexibility, and range of motion.
You will feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
WATER EXERCISE
Water Fitness
A fantastic group exercise option for
swimmers and non-swimmers alike who want to
expand their fitness horizons.

This quiet pool atmosphere is perfect for those
who wish to use the water to meet personal
fitness goals and socialize.

SWIM CHALLENGE
ADULT AQUATICS PROGRAMS
Adult Swim Lessons
This program is for adults interested in becoming
more proficient swimmers. Participants must
have basic skills such as floating. Class will focus
on stroke efficiency and refinement. Lessons will
be taught in a group setting.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Our YMCA offers a wide variety of new cardio
equipment, such as treadmills, bikes, ellipticals,
free weights, Paramount strength training
stations and more. A Wellness Center Coach will
guide you through the fitness center and show
you how to operate various pieces of equipment.
Register for one of our several weekly orientation
offerings at Member Services or through our
website. Free for Y Members.
Train one-on-one or with friends. Our trainers
will help you reach your fitness goals and
potential. Personal training is a great option for
everyone from athletes to beginning exercisers
looking to gain knowledge, motivation, and skills.
Our individual and group package options are reserved for members only. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
YOUTH SWIM LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS YOUTH SWIM LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS
YOUTH SWIM LESSONS
Ages are approximate
Level 1: Ages 5-7
Introduction to water skills. This level is ideal for
children that have not had previous swim
instruction or are unable or uncomfortable putting
their entire face in the water.
Level 2: Ages 7 & 8
Fundamental aquatic skills. This level is for children
that are able to put their face in the water, but are
unable to independently float on their front and
back.
Level 3: Ages 8 & 9
Stroke Development. In this level students will
continue to build on the fundamentals learned in
previous levels. Skills introduced in this level
include: rotary breathing, front crawl, butterfly kick,
survival float and many more.
Level 4: Ages 9 & 10
Stroke Improvement. In this level students will
develop confidence in their swimming skills. Skills
mastered in this level include: swimming 25 yards of
front crawl and elementary backstroke, swimming
15 yards of butterfly, backstroke and back crawl.
Level 5: Ages 9-12
Stoke Refinement. Students will master the
following skills: standing dive, pike and tuck, surface
dives, front and back crawl, sidestroke,
breaststroke, shallow dive, flip turn and elementary
backstroke
Level 6: Ages 11-13
Swimming and skill proficiency. The purpose of this
level is for students to refine strokes and be able to
swim with ease, efficiency, power and distance.
Some skills for life guarding and fitness will be
taught.
Parent/Child: Ages 6 months-3years
Explore the water with your baby/toddler. Basic
safety and movements are covered through song,
games and other play. Children start moving more
independently through the water under their
parent’s guidance, preparing them to work directly
with an instructor on their own. Child should be
able to control head and sit with support.
Preschool 1:
For children taking lessons for the first time. Kids
learn water adjustment skills, front and back float.
Preschool 2:
For children who can float on their front and back.
Kids will learn to move in the water on their front
and back.
Preschool 3:
For children who can swim more than half a pool
length with basic stroke and feel comfortable on
their back.

YMCA Youth Fitness Center Club Youth Age 10+
This program is designed to familiarize youth with safe and proper use of designated equipment in our fitness center. Once your child has completed this course and is able to demonstrate safe technique, proper gym etiquette and is comfortable working out on their own, they will be able to use our fitness center during staffed hours without a parent present. Participants will be given a wrist band to indicate they are approved to use the fitness center. Members 15+ can use the fitness center and weight room at any time. Free to Y members. Please register at Member Services.
Sports Performance Training Ages 8-17
Calling all athletes! Are you looking to take your game to the next level? YMCA Sports Performance Training is geared for your pre-season and off-season performance enhancement through focusing on the Three Pillars of Sport Training: Sport Movement: agility, multidirectional
speed, acceleration & deceleration Sport Strength: muscular endurance, multi
joint strength, and explosive power Sport Balance: stability, proprioception, and
neuromuscular pathway

Youth Soccer Clinic (Age 3-Grade 3)
This league will teach introductory soccer skills
through the means of practice and game play.
Coaches teach the values of teamwork and

Parent’s Night Out (ages 3-12*) Looking for someone great to watch your children
while you have a night out? Then drop your children
off at the Y and enjoy an evening out! Your children
will have an exciting, safe, and enjoyable night that
will include: dinner, arts & crafts, swimming and
more. Let our trained staff take care of your kids at
an affordable price.

Stay and Play (October-February) Moms & Dads: Join us every Friday morning from
10:00-11:30am to meet and visit with other
parents while your children play nearby in our
bounce house. It is a great time to gather and chit
chat while the kids play and burn off energy! Kids
need socks for the bounce house.

Schools Out Camp (Grades K-6) Need something fun for your child to do on school
vacation days? Schools Out Camp fun on non-
scheduled school days (following the Fergus Falls
Public School calendar). Each day is filled with a
variety of activities including arts & crafts,
swimming, physical and recreational activities.
Participants must bring their own lunch, swimsuit,
and towel. Snack provided.

Healthy Kids Day & Bike Rodeo Friday April 28, 2017 4:30-6:30pm
All kids and parents in Fergus Falls and the surrounding
communities are invited to come to the Y for a free play date and
commit to being active every day.
Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s largest national initiative, providing
education, activities and experiences that inspire children and
families to stay physically and intellectually active all summer.
