About GJUS&T

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T) started

its journey on October 20, 1995 under Haryana State Legislative Act No.

17 of 1995 at Hisar, Haryana State of India. Itis named after Guru

Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint environmentalist of 15th Century.

The University aims at imparting education on the frontiers of Technology,

Pharmacy, Environmental Studies, Non-conventional Energy Sources,

Mass Media and Management Studies. Today the university is rock

standing on 372 acres of lush green land with 17 Teaching Departments

classified in 10 Faculties for coordinated teaching in particular and

effective governance in general. The University has been accredited by

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as grade 'A for the

third time in a row in the year 2014. The University has been chosen as one

of the few universities of the country for Global Initiative for Academic

Network (GIAN).

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is

committed to impart technical education in most efficient manner to its

students. It was established in year 2001, duly approved by AICTE and also

NBA accredited. Within a short span of its existence the department has

equipped itself with most modern facilities required for achieving

excellence. The department is guided by a team of qualified, dedicated and

competent faculty members. A highly experienced and dedicated faculty

imparts quality training to student for understanding the fundamentals and

applying it to solve the challenging problems.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will cover recent trends in Artificial intelligence, Machine

learning and Information & communication technologies.

Registration Fee: Rs. 500 per participant (for Non-TEQIP-III institutes

only). There will be no registration fee for participants from the Institutions

under TEQIP-III. The registration fee paid only through Demand Draft,

drawn in favour of Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar payable at Hisar.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Faculty Members, Research Scholars and PG students of Engineering

Institutes & Technical Universities.

ACCOMODATION

Food & Stay arrangement of participants will be at Faculty Guest House/

Hostels as per availability. A request for the same is to be made in advance

up to 26th December, 2019. No TA/DA will be given to the participants.
