Support TOC, INGEST and Operations departments with day to day operations and technical issues. Perform quality control measurements, maintenance and configure multiple in house systems such as nonlinear Avid edit bays, velocities Nexios, Imagine DDRs, SGL storage, digital routers, Evertz DA cards, and Delay frames, RTS Intercom, robotic cameras, MVP displays and audio mixers utilized for day to day live broadcast, post production and operations. Duties include troubleshoot, maintain and install various systems in equipment rooms, editing suites, audio, protools and control rooms. Manage user accounts and IP systems bound within our BDN and DDN IP networks for both High and Low Security environments. Test and deploy new systems including hardware and software applications as directed and requested by Engineering, Post Production and Operations Management. Recommend, Advise and Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues promptly in order to normalize On Airand in house production. Create Standard Operating Equipment Procedures (SOEP) for Operations and Engineering personnel. Generate purchase orders and quotes and submit for approval to management. Able to work and cover various shifts in order to insure proper engineering coverage and support, able to make judgmental decisions, work with little to no supervision, self-starter.
