Allen Piper – citizen – closing a school takes time and discussion, will affect everyone in district.

Be careful and cautious. Student/teacher ratio concern. Be careful when spending taxpayer

money. Glad to hear a feasibility study recommendation is on hold. Get it right the first time.

Asked to review the Government book that was adopted at the August board meeting.

Cathy Funk – citizen – Asked how furloughs and school closings work.

Ken Nolen – citizen – Thompson Study was done in depth. Asked if feasible to compare with

other State Districts with declining population and their processes and actions.
