Reasons to Eat Healthy

I see a lot of people of people fussing

over eating the right food and saying it

isn’t possible for everyone to maintain

a healthy diet because you know—

they are too busy with their work and it

isn’t really possible.

True! It is something very tricky when

you have a busy life along with so

many responsibilities – the job, kids,

family, friends and what not! But is it

okay to forget your own health in

between all these? Of course not! You

don’t get to neglect your own health

while taking care of others. This is the

reason you must eat healthy and

maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I know you are not really motivated

with above mentioned speech of mine

this is why I have come up with a few

logical reasons why you need to start

eating healthy from today onwards –

Increases your productivity –

Healthy foods make you feel healthy

and increases your productivity. When

you eat the right food your body

absorbs the right nutrients and it

makes your body immune to

unwanted issues and you can stay

away from diseases like common flue,

stomach aches and other unwanted

problems.

A healthy and fit body means more

productivity. It is just like your car –

better the fuel and maintenance,

better the performance.

Enhances Your Mood –

Trust me; what you eat is what you are

and it directly affects your brain. Have

you ever noticed when you eat

something bizarre and tasteless you

get cranky or when you are hungry, you

don’t feel like doing anything else rather

than just thinking about food? It is

because your food has an impact on

your brain.

Foods are proven anti-depressant

although it isn’t yet satisfied which one

is the best but eating healthy foods

keeps depressions and other mental

stress and issues at bay. There are a

few foods which are quite rich in

vitamins and minerals such as fruits,

whole grains and vegetables and

foods that are rich in omega -3 fats

such as nuts, salmon and other fatty

fish can be named as anti-depressant

foods.

Keeps Your Weight on check –

Being overweight and underweight

both are very dangerous for your

health and each one is related to the

type of food you eat. More than half of

Americans are overweight or obese,

and obesity contributes to nearly 1 in 5

American deaths.

Being overweight can bring you a lot

of other diseases like blood pressure

or type 2 diabetes and so you must

make sure that you keep an eye on

your weight with the help of healthy

foods.

There are a lot of ways you can take

care of your health by maintaining a

diet like hiring a nutrition consultant, a

dietitian or hiring a nutrition staffing

company. They can keep you on track

with good health and help you stay

motivated to eat the right food.
