If you have previously studied in Higher

Education, you may not be eligible for funding.

Students resident in Northern Ireland, Scotland

or Wales and studying in England will be

charged the same tuition fees as English

students. However, the arrangements for

For some of you, coming to study with us will

mean living away from home for the first time.

Finding the right place to live is important and

living in Halls of Residence helps with the

transition from home to university.

Our Halls of Residence are all based on

campus and offer single en-suite bedrooms

with a work station, WiFi or internet access,

24-hour security including a Safeguarding

Officer, entry card system and CCTV. There

is a choice of either catering or self-catering

facilities. The catered option includes

breakfast, lunch and evening meals which

are served daily in our restaurant.

For those who opt for self-catering each Hall

has a self-catering kitchen area designated

to a number of students. Other dining

outlets include the ‘boot zone café’, the HE

café, with the College Shop and Farm Shop

selling various snacks and meal deals.

Applications for accommodation are sent

out in student Joining Packs in June prior to

entry, to students holding a firm or insurance

offer. Room allocations are confirmed

mid-August. All full-time Higher Education

students are given the opportunity to apply

for residential accommodation and are

guaranteed accommodation in their first

year. This offer is made to all applicants who

live more than a reasonable daily travelling

distance from Reaseheath and who apply

during the normal admissions cycle.

For students who require specialist facilities,

there are a limited number of residential

places available. Rooms are allocated on

assessment of disability but no provision

is available in Halls for students who

need specialist medical or nursing care,

however we can assist in trying to find

accommodation elsewhere.

practically to the industry both in America and the UK.

Katie AdamsBSc (Hons) Wildlife Conservation and Ecology

I always knew I wanted to work with endangered animals, and

Reaseheath set me on the right path. It’s really hard to decide which direction

to go in, and to find out how to get the skills you’ll need. But my lecturers

have been amazing and have given me lots of help and advice. Reaseheath

has good connections within the industry too, which has helped a lot.
