WORKSHOP 1: APRIL 7-10CHOOSING A MAJOR THROUGH CAREER EXPLORATION This workshop provides help for beginning the process of choosing a major. Students who are undecided or unsure about their college plan will explore the connection between their interests and careers.

WORKSHOP 2: APRIL 14-17 RESUME WRITING An effective resume will sell your skills and abilities to the extent that a potential employer will want to know more about you. Its major purpose is to get you to the interview. Topics covered in this workshop will include how to format and develop an effective resume.

WORKSHOP 3: APRIL 21-24JOB SEARCH AND INTERVIEWING PRACTICES What are YOUR strengths and weaknesses? If you are always stumped on a good answer to that question, come learn the best way to answer this question and many others in the interview workshop. Come find out some typical questions and outstanding answers to the hardest interview questions. Feel confident about nailing the next interview!

WORKSHOP 4: APRIL 28-MAY 1SOCIAL MEDIA LITERACY AND INTERNET PRIVACY Your social media profile (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) can be integral to your success as a student. College recruiters and potential employers may peruse students’ social media profiles as criteria for deciding whether or not someone may be a good fit. Come to this workshop to learn the dos and don’ts of social media, and learn how to impress others! Bring a device to take a look at your social media profiles and come prepared with questions.
