3 Compatibility
3.1 Version REAP 1.1.545(2900)/1.1.539(RAX700) When configure UP MEP, it need to configure SDP port. If not, can’t find remote-MEP.
Modify the default Port Mode from default Access mode on all ports to default Access
mode on UNI Ports and default Trunk mode on NNI Ports.(For RAX700 Series only)
TheCLIofY.1564 is different with the last version, the detail information please refer to
“8CLICommandChanges”. (For RAX700 Series only)

4 Upgrade Procedure
All of products have to be upgraded to Bootstrap5.2 for further deployment. Please following
the steps below to upgrade, otherwise it may be damaged.
4.1 Preparation Determine the version of the device. If the REAP versions are 1.1 or above(1.2.206 for
2900 series excluded), please upgrade REAP and Bootstrap firmware following the
procedure of "4.2 Normal upgrade operations", else upgrade REAP and Bootstrap
firmware following the procedure of "4.3 Upgrade operations from REAP1.2.4 to
REAP1.2.X for 2900 Series" or "4.4 Upgrade operations from REAP1.0 to REAP1.1".
An FTP server will need to be provisioned on the applicable IP subnet so that the device
to be upgraded can access it.
Save the following firmware files to the root folder on the FTP server, The 2900 for
example:

− ISCOM2900G-1_Bootstrap2_5.2.1_20131213

4.2 Normal upgrade operations
4.2.1 Upgrade the REAP software
Enter the Enable mode in the REAP operating system and upgrade the REAP firmware via
FTP or TFTP.
