Lessthanayearlater,afterthisboathadsufferedmanybreakdownsandfailures,theydecidedthatiftheyweretohaveaboatthatnotonlylooksgood,butthatisalsobuiltwellenoughtostanduptotherigoursofsharedownership,thentheyhadtobuilditthemselves.

Quality materials and sustainable sourcing....We use only the best equipment and materials on your boat.

Our steel is Marine Grade (to EU Standards), and is sourced from reputable quality global steel manufacturers.

Steel is ordered in specifically for each customer’s boat, which means that we do not have supplies of steel lying around unused for long periods of time, rusting and developing mill scale.

Our solid wood and ply panels are sourced from FSC approved sources and are made by manufacturers who source their wood from sustainable woodlands.

The solid oak that we use arrives in our workshop as raw timber, which we then custom process to manufacture the components specific to your boat.

Innovation....We constantly strive to improve our boats. For example, in the important areas of insulation and ventilation, we are the market leaders. We are also pioneers in electric and hybrid propulsion, and using new eco technologies for heating and hot water.

Having designed and built over 300 boats, we are well placed to give friendly, practical, and meaningful advice to help guide you through what can seem like a daunting and highly confusing process. We will give you the time that you and your boat deserve, developing with you the design and specification of your boat so that you end up with the boat of your dreams.

Throughout the building of your boat, we inspect the quality of work completed on your boat each and every day. This ensures that even the small things are done perfectly and no details are overlooked.

We have developed boat designs for customers with a wide range of personal requirements and needs, including boats adapted for disabled living, boats with electric and hybrid propulsion systems and “Category C” boats to enable you to make your own crossing of the English Channel. With such a wide range of experience, you know that you are in good hands with us.

Additional features that we have included on boats by customer request include air conditioning, heating and hot water using new eco technologies, under floor heating, solar arrays and a wheelchair lift that becomes either a set of stairs or a corridor when not in use. All of this demonstrates that we have the flexibility to tailor make your perfect home or holiday retreat.

The Narrowboat Range:

Introducing the Narrowboat Range

The popular Kensington is a stunning member of the Elton Moss range with its spacious open-plan saloon area, rear galley and forward bedroom layout, finished with a modern contemporary feel. The exceptionally high quality fit-out, in a combination of painted panel and solid oak trim, with chrome fixtures and fittings, produces a truly outstanding look for today’s discerning boat buyer.

The Kensington

The Westminster is a truly aspirational luxury narrowboat which makes an ideal live-aboard or very comfortable holiday boat, with a large well equipped mid galley featuring stylish curved counter tops and spacious walk through bathroom. The Westminster can be built to a traditional rear bedroom layout or with a reverse layout where the bedroom is located at the front of the boat.

The Windsor is the ultimate head turner. From the semi-Josher bow and beautiful paint scheme on the exterior, to the gorgeous interior fit out. The Windsor makes an ideal holiday or live-aboard boat for families, or for entertaining larger parties, with the convenient cabin bathroom, and the ability for having up to six berths with the (optional) dinette and fixed sofa bed in the saloon area.
