Nestlé offers a competitive benets program for real life, allowing you to tailor your benets to

meet your health care, personal wellness and nancial/retirement needs.

Health and WellnessIt should come as no surprise that the health and wellness of our employees is as important to the company as itis to you. That’s why Nestlé USA offers a range of health plan options through NesCARE , all including preventivecare, prescription drug benets and coverage for certain alternative medicine services. You are given the exibilityto choose the benets that are right for you and your family, including medical, dental and vision coverage.

In addition to these traditional benets, the company also provides access to a comprehensive health and well-ness initiative called HealthWorks. This program offers no-cost resources and tools to help you and your familymake informed decisions about health care and lifestyle support (i.e. losing weight or quitting tobacco products).

Spending AccountsSpending accounts are a great way to save some money on taxes. They allow you to put aside your pre-tax dollarsto reimburse yourself for eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent daycare expenses during the year.

DisabilityThere may be a time when you are unable to work due to an illness or injury that occurred outside of work. Likedisability plan, Nestlé’s short-term and long-term disability plans help protect your ability to pay your bills andsupport your family during such a time by providing you with a certain amount of continued income while you getbetter.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)Nestlé’s life and AD&D insuranc e offer “peace of mind.” They provide nancial protecti on–in the form of a cashbenet–in the event you or your covered dependents suffer a serious accident or death.

Voluntary BenetsNestlé offers a number of voluntary bene ts, including auto/home insurance and prepaid legal services.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and WorkLife Services BenetThe EAP and WorkLife Services benets are resources that Nestlé offers to help employees balance work and lifeby providing easy condential access to telephone and web-based counseling, education and referral services.

RetirementTo help prepare for retirement, Nestlé USA offers the Nesté 401(k) Savings Plan, which offers a competitiveemployer-matching contribution along with an annual retirement contribution.

401(k) Savings PlanThe savings plan allows you to save on a tax-deferred basis through convenient payroll deductions. You areeligible for the plan as soon as you’re hired, and you can save up to 25% of your eligible pay (certainlimitations may apply). The plan offers automatic enrollment, which means you will be automaticallyenrolled at a contribution rate of 6% of your eligible pay, unless you select a different rate or decline participation.

Nestlé will match what you put in:• 100% match on the rst 3% of eligible pay you save

• 50% match on the next 2% of eligible pay you save

In addition to employer-matching contributions, Nestlé provides an annual retirement contribution, based on ageand eligible service, to help you save for retirement. You will become 100% vested in your employer contributions(meaning you gain full ownership of the money) after completing the earlier of three years of service or reachingage 65.

The savings plan offers investment options for every type of investor. You choose how to invest both your con-tributions and Nestlé’s among many investment options that offer various levels of risk and return. You also haveaccess to Voya Retirement Advisors, powered by Financial Engines. This service can provide you with convenientretirement planning information and investment advice to help you make informed decisions about how much tosave and how to invest to help meet your retirement goals. When you are ready to retire (or leave the compa-ny for any reason), you can decide if you want to leave your money in the savings plan (certain restrictions mayapply) or take it with you.

Scholarship ProgramThe Nestlé Scholarship Foundation is proud to sponsor a scholarship program to nancially assist children ofNUSA employees in the pursuit of higher education. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academicrecord, demonstrated leadership skills, and participation in school and community activities. Not all applicantswho apply receive a scholarship, as the number of scholarships awarded is limited based on the funds availablefrom the Nestlé Scholarship Foundation.

Adoption AssistanceFamily is an important part of who we are, which is why Nestlé offers valuable support for families throughprograms such as adoption assistance. This program helps eligible employees pay for adoption expenses, up to$5,000 for adoption or $6,000 for “special needs” adoption.

Nestlé Adopt-A-School Program –This program has been the cornerstone of our volunteeroutreach for more than two decades. This year, the program grew to more than 40 adoptedschools across the country. Here, we continue to provide our employees with paid time offduring the workday to spend with students in the classroom, acting as positive role models,with a focus on healthy living and physical activity.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America –As a Nestlé employee, you will have the opportunity to volun-teer with a local Boys & Girls Club in your community. Nestlé recently engaged in a partnershipwith Boys & Girls Clubs by sponsoring a bi-annual National Fitness Competition aim at inspiringkids to achieve tangible short-term tness goals. The competition is expected to reach 500clubs and engage a tot al of 50,000 young pe ople by 2017.

Nestlé National Day of Volunteering –Each fall we invite Nestlé employees from all acrossthe country to join in our National Day of Volunteering. This collective effort of volunteerismsupports Nestlé’s vision to be recognized and trusted as the leading Food, Nutrition, Health andWellness company in the USA and also our commitment to bringing “Good Food, Good Life” tothe communities where we live and work.

Healthy Steps for Healthy Lives –This program was created as a free resource to support K-6classrooms with materials that teach kids and their families to make good decisions when itcomes to food and exercise. To date, nearly one million young people have beneted from ourHealthy Steps for Healthy Lives program.

Community Care Campaign –Giving back to the community is deeply rooted in Nestlé’sculture, and our employees continually demonstrate their generosity through gifts of time andnancial contributions. During our annual campaign, Nestlé salaried employees have the oppor-tunity to donate one day’s pay (their Fair Share) to either a local Boys & Girls Club or the NestléAdopt-A-School program. Those who donate their Fair Share receive two additional days of paidtime off (PTO). In addition, Nestlé matches employee contributions.

Food Donations –Nestlé has donated 154 million pounds of food and beverages to FeedingAmerica. In addition, Nestlé has engaged with several cause-marketing programs with FeedingAmerica, and employees volunteer at its network of regional food location across the country.

Community Relations/InvolvementNestlé is deeply committed to the communities where our employees live and work. Our Community Affairsteam works with various non-prot organizations, whose focus aligns with our goal of bringing nutrition education

and physical activity programs to young people all across the country. We feel our employees can also make adifference in creating a healthier generation of children by volunteering in their communities with one of ouractive kids or nutrition education programs.
