Amenta Emma
• Was selected as the winner in the Adaptive Reuse category at the 39th Annual Interiors Awards presented by Contract Magazine for their project for Quinnipiac University’s Brand Strategy Group. Amenta Emma project designers transformed a 19th century house for the organization responsible for the university’s marketing, communications, brand identify and digital initiatives.
Saugatuck Commercial
• Brokered the sale of two Wells Fargo properties (Hamden and Greenwich) and assisted in the renewal of their leases in Newtown and downtown Fairfield.
• Represented Atlanta-based Formation Development Group LLC in the purchase of 55 Old Quarry Rd, Ridgefield. Formation Development plans to develop the property into a 78,000 s/f three-story, assisted-living and memory care facility.
CBRE
• Jeffrey Dunne, David Gavin and Travis Langer represented the seller, CG Milford, LLC, an affiliate of the Cappelli Organization,in the 1031 purchase of Milford Square, Milford for $28 million. The 62,442 s/f retail center is located on Rte. 1 and includes REI, Panera, Verizon, Sleep Number and PetValu.
• Jeffrey Dune, David Gavin and Travis Langer represented the owner, CapFor Westport, LLC in the $30 million sale of 1365 Post Road East in Westport. They also were responsible for procuring the purchaser. The property is a 50,795 s/f grocery anchored center.
• Beth Chappel and Nina Becker served as the exclusive leasing agents for the retail space at 1950 Boston Post Road, Darien. The retail leases totaled 4,247 s/f. Tenants include Danny’s Cycles, Roost, and Johnny’s Hair Salon.
R.D. Scinto Company
• Purchased a 2.83 acre parcel from 900 Shelton Plaza Associates for the construction of a 27,000 s/f retail center in Shelton. The price was $1.5 million.
Cushman & Wakefield
• Arranged a 4,842 s/f lease for TrueNorth Chartering LLC, a ship brokerage company, at 372 Danbury Road, Wilton. The team representing the landlord consisted of Brian Scruton, Kathleen Fazio and John Altieri. Adam Klimek represented the tenant.
Building and Land Technology
• BLT has leased 25,000 s/f of office space at 200 Elm Street, Stamford to Webster Bank. Ed Tonnessen of JLL represented Webster Bank in the transaction.
Colliers International
• Nicholas Morizio and Peter Shiue were the sole brokers of the sale of 90 River Street, New Haven, a 82,261 s/f vacant industrial building for $930,000 to Patriot Marine, LLC, a dredging and maritime construction company.
CBRE Capital Markets
• Michael Riccio, Susan Larkin and Anna Pfau arranged a $39.6 million loan for New Jersey-based developer Continental Properties for the construction of Trumbull Loft Apartments in Trumbull.
• Michael Riccio, Susan Larkin and Anna Pfau arranged $13.8 million construction to permanent financing for a 234,000 s/f to-be-built industrial building in Windsor.
RHYS Commercial
• Brokered the sale of 1 Eliot Place, Fairfield, a 25,000 s/f three-story office building to Rockwest Real Estate Partners for $5.075 million. The seller was FNL Enterprises. Ted Grogan and Greg Romano were the sole brokers.
• Brokered the $4.35 million sale of 59 Danbury Road, Wilton, a 32,270 s/f multi-use building. Cory Gubner, Christian Bangert and Alex Haendler were the sole brokers for the seller, NY City based Caroline APTS Co., and the buyer, New England Investment Partners.
• Brokered the $2.1 million sale of 36 Atlantic Street in Stamford, a 12,150 s/f, three-story mixed-use building. Greg Romano, Ted Grogan and Alex Haendler were the sole brokers for the seller, Jole Realty, and a local investor who was the buyer.
