If the National Sports Stadium
was a stage then Robert Mug-
abe turned it into a theatre upon
which to dramatise his limitless
capacity for hypocrisy.
Given that his party’s anthem
starts and ends with the words
“ZANU ndeye ropa”, for him to
now assert that
“violence interferes
with our happiness”
shows that he has
decided to take hypoc-
risy and deception to
the highest levels ever
seen in the country.
Happiness in Zim-
babwe today is limited
to those who practice
violence and preach
peace. Violence on the
other hand is daily visitor to
those who have said they have
an alternative vision for the
country and choose to make a
public stand for their beliefs.
It is strange indeed that after 32
years of so-called self rule the
country is scarred, disfigured
and defaced through 32 years of
self mutilation. The yesteryear
preacher of reconciliation and
today’s lecturer on non-violence
is responsible the destruction of
the country. The man has shown
he is insincere, deceitful,
untrustworthy and leads a morally
bankrupt party with absolutely
nothing to offer except a lesson in
perfecting the art of double speak-
ing.
As Robert was promising heaven
his party was delivering hell in
Epworth. As the President of Zanu
was taking his seat his
mercenaries were bru-
tally attacking Samson
Muripo in Epworth and
handcuffing him with
police issued
handcuffs.
That sums up a pretty
dire situation where a
leader indicates left
and turns right. When
his wife asks him to
bring coffee he brings
a bag full of brown sand.
If Robert wants to be taken seri-
ously he should act. He should
arrest those responsible for vio-
lence, disband Chipangano, stop
hate language in the state media.
Robert Mugabe is a man of the
80s, Morgan Tsvangirai is the man
of the digital age. The people of
Zimbabwe made it clear in March
2008.
We have been in the storm for long
enough and we are not going to let
anybody turn us around..
Candidate in his 89th year!
Woto sunga dzisimbe…..
Robert Mugabe turns hypocrisy into an art form
Dual Citizenship - A Non-negotiable Matter
News that the issue of dual citizenship
has been referred to the Management
Committee of the new constitution
making body is most distressing.
It should be one of the issues that ZANU
quickly and readily agreed to. There is
no justification at all for ZANU to play its
usual game of narrow-mindedness.
It is not possible for Zimbabweans who
have left the country to lose their
citizenship. Any future government will
have to find a way to engage those in
the diaspora to assist with the rebuild-
ing of their once great country.
Zimbabweans outside the country
should not be punished twice. They did
not leave the country of their own will.
Their country failed to create opportuni-
ties that allowed them the pursuit of a
decent life. Some of them were chased
by state agents operating as ZANU
militia.
There are many examples of leaders in
ZANU whose parents came from other
countries or indeed the same leaders
held passports of other countries.
There shouldn’t be any issue to dis-
cuss. It is a simple matter. Dual or
multiple citizenship is non-negotiable.

The MDCSA Province has
launched a new membership
recruiting campaign called “1
bring 5” (1b5).
The campaign has since been
taken to the Oliven, Lethabile
and Okasa branches in Pretoria
and North West Districts.
The objective of the member-
ship recruitment campaign is
for every current branch mem-
ber to bring five new members
to branch meetings.
It falls in line with the decision
made by the Province to engage
in sustainable low cost, high
impact campaigns.
The campaign also seeks to
make branch meetings more
educative and presents an
opportunity to provide accurate
and up to date information on
political events happening in
Zimbabwe.
The ultimate objective is for
branch meetings to be exciting
and become focal points in the
recruitment exercise as people
“take away” something from
the meeting.
Members of the provincial and
district executive routinely at-
tend branch meetings and en-
courage those present to re-
cruit more members so that the
branches can grow.
So near yet so far
“The fact that the army stood up and restored order is a
sign that we have matured” - Joyce Banda - President of
Malawi says after the army there refused to support an
illegal government being formed.
Its extraordinary that while the army in Malawi refuses to
support the installation of an illegal government, the army
in Zimbabwe is actively seeking the very and exact
opposite.
The army in Zimbabwe are now playing referees in the
shadowy world of ZANU succession and have made it
known that they will not accept an election result in which
their team does not win!!
a) Finalisation of the Constitution making process
b) Eradicating political violence
c) The right to Freedom of Association, Assembly
and Movement
d) Implementing Regional and International Stan-
dards for elections
e) Implementation of the GPA and all other
agreed positions
A report was complied and distributed on
their return from the meeting.
We might add that the MDCSA is aware that
Robert Mugabe is waiting for the Party to
save him from himself. His tendencies to self
destruct have cost the country in the most
unimaginable manner.
1b5 Membership Recruitment Campaign Launched
T wo provincial executive members Sam
Mavhunga and Kumbirai Muchemwa
attended the National Council that was
held at Harvest House on the 12th of April
2012.
The meeting provided an opportunity of receiving
reports from the various leaders
of the Party including the Presi-
dent, Secretary General and
Chairman’s report.
It was also an opportunity to
engage with national leaders on
the role the SA Province can
continue to play in fulfillment of
the Party’s covenant with the
people of Zimbabwe.
The Council noted that no one can unilaterally call
for elections and the Party restated its position that
any elections in the country need to be held in a
conducive environment that meets criteria laid out
by the Party in its Conditions for a Sustainable Elec-
tion (CoSEZ) document.
These conditions include the following among
others

“AWARE that the
entire Zimbabwean
population and all
other democratic
forces look to the
MDC as the central
engine of Real
Change in Zimbabwe”
Mambo Rusere the Deputy Organising Secretary addresses Lethabile
branch members on the 15th of April in the North West
Solomon Madzore the Assembly
of Youth President remains
locked up at Chikurubi Maximum
Security Prison on bogus charges
of killing a policeman.
He has appeared countless times
before the country’s judicial offi-
cers on bail application hearings.
In the last hearing on the 11th of
April judgment was reserved
indefinitely. One wonders why it
should take so long to consider
an otherwise simple matter of a
bail application.
There is no justification at all for
keeping Madzore in prison. From
a legal perspective bail should be
denied only when the detention is
necessary for the protection or
safety of the public i.e. the ac-
cused person might commit a
further offence or interfere with
state witnesses.
There is absolutely no danger of
Madzore doing that because he
did not commit any offence in the
first place. The normal bail appli-
cation rules it appears do not
apply for him. In Zimbabwe, being
President of the Youth Assembly
is the equivalent of a death
sentence.
The granting of bail is not a
favour by the state or the judge.
There should be solid grounds
upon which bail is continually
denied. The accused person
meanwhile is innocent until
proven guilty.
Take a moment and consider
these two cases below
1. Four people who were be-
ing charged with the death
of 11 people in a boat acci-
dent on Lake Chivero were
given bail of $500 only 3
days after the accident.
2. Shamva police officer-in-
charge Inspector Aspias
Shumba was granted $100
bail for the killing of a mine
worker in Shamva in March
2012.
ZANU PF has corrupted all state
institutions for political expedi-
ency. The Chief Justice recently
admitted that corruption was
rampant in the system.
The ZANU minister of justice (an oxymoron in itself) is best
known for shedding buckets of tears when his dirty hand
was discovered in the Tsholotsho saga.
To expect that these men will take the country to a peaceful
and just future is to expect water from the proverbial stone.
Solomon Madzore and 28 others are innocent and must be
freed today.
Tsvangirai to be the President of
Zimbabwe.
He told the Party members pre-
sent that the new constitution in
Zimbabwe was ready and that the
Province will roll out educational
forums on the contents of the new
constitution to the different
districts.
Shingirai Mangena was elected
the new Chairman and will be
deputised by Bonomali Marere.
Loveness Ziera remains the
Chairlady of the Assembly of
Women whilst the Tinashe
Mlambo is the Chairman of the
Youth Assembly.
Elections were held in the North
West District on Sunday the 29th
of April 2012 in Brits in to fill
vacancies created by the
elevation of some of the mem-
bers of the previous executive to
the Province and the subsequent
return of others to Zimbabwe.
Addressing the newly elected
executive Provincial Chairman
Kwanele Moyo urged them to
work hard and build the Party in
the North West province.
He reminded them that it is
through their effort that the
change they seek to see will be
achieved. That change begins
with registering to vote so that we
can elect the Rt. Hon. Morgan
The elections were attended by members of the Provincial
Executive who included Lovemore Chikandiwa, Tembi Si-
banda, Giyani Dube, Butho Nyathi, Sam Mavhunga,
Dr. Richard Mazodze, Mambo Rusere among others

Abridged Timeline of Madzore Persecution
Dear Editor
I am in Hillbrow, Johannesburg where can I join the Party?
Godfrey
Dear Godfrey
Thank you the inquiry. The Hillbrow branch meets every
week at the recreation centre every fortnight. The Johan-
nesburg District office is at 302 Sable Centre, 41 De Korte
Street, Braamfontein.

We asked our readers to respond to the our Survey of the Month
question. Below are some of their responses :
1. Absolutely not. The army would most probably stop me from
taking ownership on the pretext that I never went to war. The
police would then arrest me for a “conspiracy to hold” fake
registration papers for a car that is not mine. Section 121,
I mean you know the rest.., Innocent, KZN
2. Yes, you could be lucky and find the results of the next
election in the boot., Tariro, Makhado
3. No, I would expect it to be a 32 year old car with oil in the
carburetor and sugar in the tank sold as the latest indigenous
model, Murehwa, Johannesburg
4. Never. The man has a doctorate in doctoring straight forward
things. I hear the results of the 2008 election took an amazing
5 weeks undergoing a transmutation somewhere in his office,
Sandy, Soweto
5. Not in a thousand years!!!!, Richard
6. Wati ani???? Usatambe shasha.
Jabu,
If you wouldn't buy a
second car from a man why
would you let him be
President of Zimbabwe?
Lets finish it….
