ReadyRosie PK-Elementary School Professional Learning Opportunities Each ReadyRosie Professional Development Opportunity: Select a Full Day Plan Participants will create implementation plans to incorporate ReadyRosie family engagement tools with their existing efforts and family touch points based on best practices. The ReadyRosie professional learning approach is designed to strengthen learning partnerships between families and schools by providing tools, knowledge, and confidence so working together is enjoyable and leads to school readiness and improved student outcomes. • builds educator expertise in working with families as key partners in academic success • celebrates working with families and the rich, diverse experiences they bring to the classroom • encourages teachers who interact with families to collaborate with colleagues and gain the tools they need in order to successfully strengthen family engagement • inspires educators to encourage and support family efforts to learn outside of school • includes ReadyRosie Modeled Learning Moments. These videos provide rich authentic learning activities with real families, in real environments and directly support the foundational skills children need to be successful in the classroom • is interactive, engaging, and fun
