The average rate of IB students into university/college is 22 percentage points higher than the average acceptance rate of the total population. In the IB Diploma Programme, 11th and 12th grade students study six courses at both standard level (SL) and high level (HL). Subjects include English, foreign languages, his- tory, the experimental sciences and mathematics. The sixth subject is an IB elective which often in- cludes the arts. Few students follow the same path, as class selection is tailored to individual student strengths and interests. Student BodyThe Upper School, established in 2008, has 94 students grades 9-12. The Class of 2017 is comprised of 32 students. The student-teacher ratio is 6:1. Approximately 15% of our students are International boarding students from many different countries around the world. 100% of our students in the graduating classes of 2014-2016 were accepted to a 4-year college or university. Since 2012, 31 of our graduates have been awarded the International Baccalaureate Diploma in addition to the Rancho Solano Preparatory School Diploma. Our IB Students continue to earn one to two points more than the world average on their exam scores and our
