1. Overview

IK-RBA-09.00 provides support for developing RBA application interfacing iPP350 device. Please refer to the DIV350779 REV S Telium RBA User’s Guide.pdf for a complete guide to the Telium RBA application. This release contains KP4 signed RBA code and shall only be used on terminal with KP4 key file injected. Both LLT and OGZ load package is included in this release.

Package contains RBA App release 5.0.6 for the IPP350. These are production signed software packages which can only be used on production profiled unit (Non-MOCKUP). Package includes three downloadable formats; LLT, USB (iSCxxx only), and OGZ. Only KP4 packages are provided in this release:

• Telium USB-CDC Driver 1.1 Package contains a separate USB driver for Telium devices. It includes both the driver files and an installer. Once installed, Windows will create a virtual RS232 COM port when Telium device is connected. This driver is required if user intend to use the LLT download utility or running the device set as USB-CDC. • Telium Jungo Driver 1.5 The Telium USB Jungo driver is intended to be used on cash register and it is not compatible with Ingenico development software (due to known limitation of driver). In order to use the development tools one has to use the Telium USB Driver 1.1. Please refer to Ingenico_Driver_Installer_RN_1.5.pdf for installation and configuration details.

• RBA Test Application V5.0.0.1 Sample Host application to drive the RBA application. Please refer to the DIV350779 REV S Telium RBA User’s Guide.pdf for details.

3. Telium Tools Setup Notes

Setup_TeliumTools_5.0.1.1.exe installs Form Builder, Data Packaging Tool, Script Builder, and SAT (If not presence). .Net Frameworks 3.5 is required. Setup checks this pre-requisite and prompts for Web installation if not present in the host system. Please refer to “DIV350840 Rev E Telium Tools Install Guide.pdf” for detail installation guide. Form Builder, Data Packaging tool, and Script Builder help files are integrated in the installation and can be access via each application help menu and icons. To run these installed utilities:

4. RBA Test App Setup Notes

SETUP_RBATestApp_5.0.0.1.exe installs the RBA Test Application. Run the RBA Test Apps from the

Start->All Programs->Ingenico->RBA Test App Make sure the device has been setup to communicate with the RBA Test App by configuring both the terminal and the RBA Test App communication parameters. Please refer to the DIV350779 REV S Telium RBA User’s Guide.pdf for details.

5. Loading Terminal Software Package

5.1. Setup Requirements

Download host (PC) must meet the following requirements • Running Windows XP, Windows7 (32 and 64 Bit) • Have a minimum of LLT 4.3, 4.4, or 4.4.6 installed and Sagem device Port

configured to connect to Telium devices via USB port. Refer to LLT User’s guide for initial setup.

Device must meet the following requirements

• NAR Profile [0248-014]

Software package can be can be downloaded into appropriate device either via LLT download tools, RBA’s File Write Request at runtime or external USB memory (ISC250and ISC350 Only).

RBA terminal software packages are located in Telium UIA Terminal Application directory in the kit. IK-RBA-09.01\Telium RBA Terminal Application

Terminal software packages provided in this kit are intended only for production profiled unit [0248-014]. This value appears briefly at the start of boot up sequence

if OS and Manager exist on terminal. Software packages are not intended for mock up profile unit. Loading this software into a mockup unit will render the device unusable which must be returned to Ingenico for factory reset. Mock up profile unit has an unmistaken flashing of the warning sign as shown below

5.2. LLT download

Download is triggered by LLT command line script. Make sure LLT has been installed and configured correctly.

LLT_LOAD.BAT detects LLT installation path in the registry and will set the path accordingly. The screen capture information of Part# and Device may change based on the current package used. The following table contains shortcut guide to putting the device in the desired mode.

5.3. USB Load

ISCXXX devices are capable of handling software download via FAT16 or FAT32 formatted USB flash memory. The USB package format is created by running the COPY_TO_USB.BAT which can be found in the LoadScripts directory of supported device package. The batch script generates downloadable software package into USB memory stick.

We highly recommend that the USB flash memory use in loading be kept for such purpose and contains no other artifacts.

Please refer to Table1 keying guide to putting the device in the USB ready mode.

5.3.1. Creating USB Load Package 1. Double click COPY_TO_USB.BAT. Enter Windows assigned USB drive letter when

prompted.

injection.

11. Following a successful key injection, Telium manager goes through the initialization of the MANAGER.PAR file and boots to RBA Interface Application splash Screen.

Device requires a reboot after Telium Manager successfully initializes contactless settings in MANAGER.PAR. This is a one-time process.

5.4. OGZ Load

OGZ package is provided for the purpose of updating the existing unit with the newer RBA package at runtime via RBA File Write Request command. OGZ content is similar to the PK packages provided with the exception of MANAGER.PAR file and the KIA Application. OGZ software packages for specific device can be found in Production Profile OGZ Package directory within the kit. This download mode may take longer depending on the connection

type being used. Below is the steps to load OGZ package via the RBA Test App; 1. HOST Application or RBA Test app must first establish connection with the appropriate

terminal. 2. Send "File Write Request" or click on the "File Write Request” button on RBA Test App.

Sets the following parameters: "Load 8 Bits" and select the device specific OGZ file in Production Profile OGZ Package directory within the kit

3. Execute command or click on execute button on RBA Test App

4. Activation automatically initiated at the end of load.

5.5. Updating Communication file via file download

By default the unit is set to RS-232, 115200, N, 8, 1. User can change the device communication setting manually (Refer to the developers guide for instruction) or use the sample communication files provided in Communication Parameters directory. The TDA.XML is by default configured as RS232. Edit the XML to change your communication settings and package them into a TGZ format which can be loaded via File Write Request. Please refer to the Telium Tools Data Packaging Tool application help file on how to package into TGZ format. The kit includes SERIAL, ETHERNET, USB-CDC and USB-HID TGZ sample files. Below are the steps to load TGZ communication parameter via the RBA Test App; 1. HOST Application or RBA Test app must first establish connection with the appropriate

terminal.

2. Send "File Write Request" or click on the "File Write Request” button on RBA Test App. Set "Load 8 Bits" and select the specific TGZ communication file from the Communication Parameters directory. Execute command or click on execute button on RBA Test App

3. Activation automatically initiated at the end of load.

5.6. Enabling Contactless on Supported Device

A MANAGER.PAR enables contactless operation in the supported device. The downloadable package is located in the Contactless Parameters directory. To enable the contactless in the device 1. Run the LOAD_CLESS.BAT LLT script and follow prompts.

2. The top left LED on IPP320, ISMP350, and ISC250 (LED icon on ISC350) should blink at

interval if contactless is detected and enabled.

NOTE Device requires a reboot following after Telium Manager initialized contactless settings in MANAGER.PAR. This is a one-time process.

5.7. Enabling P2PE (Point-to-Point Encryption)

Please refer to DIV350779 REV S Telium RBA User’s Guide.pdf for P2PE configuration. 1. To enable this functionality please load the specific signed SECURITY.PGZ located in the

P2PE Configuration directory via the LLT_LOAD.BAT. The following P2PE configurations are supported;
