Conn4x Build 2361

NOTE: Build 2361 is NOT an official HP release. HP will not support b2361and we may all be better off if you don't make an issue of having anunsupported version!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------You MUST install HP's build 2439 (or equivalent) before installing this version.HP's version has the required USB drivers, help files and other support filesneeded for operation. Do not be concerned about build 2361 being a lowerversion number than HP's 2439.

Copy the Build 2361 files to: C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Conn4x\

You may want to rename your old copy as Conn4xOLD.exe or something similar.Then you can rename Conn4x_b2361.exe to Conn4x.exe so your old shortcuts andStart menu will invoke b2361.

================Differences======================================1. There are some timing differences between the above versions. b2361 will support backups with HP48Gx, b2361 often fails in that regard.

2. There is a Log File button. Opening a log file will provide diagnostic

information about the connection with the calculator.

3. SUPPORT - try comp.sys.hp48 newsgroup for support. I generally do not have time to provide support and if I am very busy, I might not get to your email. Use the newsgroup first.Good Luck,Bill
