If you are using quaeroCNC with Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader versions below 7 you may see question marks on some dialogs. This is because quaeroCNC runs as part of Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader and thus inherits all restrictions that come along with the appropriate versions. One restriction is that for Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader versions below version 7 unicode was not fully supported.Another point is the support of unicode from your operating system (Windows). Windows fully supports unicode as long as you have installed uncode capable fonts like Arial Unicode TTF. quaeroCNC works based on that font and thus it is necessary to ensure that this font is installed. The setup will check upon this and if necessary recommends to install that font.
