One day a small dog saw a big bone.*

He picked up the bone and started to walk home.

There are many children and parents at school.

most famous This is the * sign in the world. It's huge. It's about 137 meters long. Each letter is almost 14 meters high! It is there since 1923. This is the Walk of Fame. There are more than 2,400 stars. Each star has the name of a famous person or character from a TV show or a movie. In 1978 Mickey Mouse got a star. He was the first *animated character to get one. Today Bugs Bunny, the Simpsons, Donald Duck and many other characters have stars. Disneyland Park is so much fun! We went on exciting *rides like Space Mountain. We also saw a colorful *parade with all of my favorite Disney characters from movies like The Lion King and Aladdin. I enjoyed it so much so I didn't want the day to end. We saw lots of celebrities' houses on a special tour. Look at the actor Keanu Reeves's house. It cost 4.5 million dollars! It has a swimming pool, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Rodeo Drive is a very popular street in Los Angeles. There are big, beautiful stores, but everything is very expensive. Many rich and famous people buy their clothes here. I didn't buy anything because I didn't have enough money.

Jessica, the Hippo December 12,

Hi Stav,

I'm having a wonderful holiday in South Africa. I love seeing the wild animals in

the Kruger National Park.

Yesterday we went to see a famous hippo. Her name is Jessica . She has her

own website and a fan club. She was on TV too! She lives with Tonie and Shirley

Joubert on their farm near the park.

I asked Tonie and Shirley how they found her. They said that they found her after

a bad flood. She was next to the river near their house. She was four hors old.

They carried her home and gave her milk to drink. Tonie and Shirley knew that

she couldn’t survive so they took care of her until she was healthy.

Now Jessica is over ten years old. Most hippos are dangerous, but Jessica is not

dangerous at all. She's kind and friendly and she loves her family. We even gave

Jessica apples to eat and tea from a bottle!

Her best friends are Tonie and Shirley's pet dogs. When as wild hippo is in the

river, Jessica sometimes goes to meet it. She plays with it , but she always goes

back home. It was an amazing visit.

Tomorrow we are going to an animal hospital to see some baby cheetahs. I'm

really excited, but a bit nervous too.

Up High in the Sky It's four o'clock in the morning and Ran is on his way to Ben Gurion Airport. He is

going to Italy. There will be 300 people on the airplane with him. Some are Israeli

tourists going on vacation in Italy. Some are Italian tourists going back home. Some

are business men going to Italy to work. Dan is going to work too, he is a flight

attendant.

It's six o'clock, Ran's plane is on its way. He has many things to do before the flight

starts. He is checking the first aid kit, the food and the drinks. Then he is writing

down the names of the children that are on the flight without their parents. He

needs to look after them during the flight.

Ran is so busy. He is helping the passengers. He is giving them food, drinks and

newspapers. Dan is not resting at all, he has to answer all the questions of the

passengers and they have a lot of them.

It is nine o'clock in the morning, the plane is landing in Italy. The Italians are going

home, the tourists are starting their vacation. Dan isn't going on vacation, he is so
