KBR Technical Innovation - Water Bottling Plant

Water for UK forces used to be moved along a very dangerous ground line of communication (GLOC) from Pakistan

KBR suggested the construction of a borehole and water bottling plant at Camp Bastion

We designed, constructed and now operate the water bottling plant

Water is drawn from the borehole and bottled on site

Fewer people and vehicles now put in danger on LOC

Cost to deliver water has been halved (was 82c/litre, now 41c/litre)

KBR Technical Innovation - Tactical Ablutions Unit

KBR has designed and developed for the UK Ministry of Defence a self-contained deployable tactical ablutions unit

KBR was awarded the contract after competition and is now producing the units

Solution comprises a single unit (that fits inside an ISO-container) including sinks, showers and toilets

It is self-sufficient for water for a 14-day period, and uses F-35
