1., Choose some jeans ;)

• Choose a pair of jeans, turn them inside out, put them on (zip up, button it too) and pin as desired.

• I dont want to make a sooo very skinny ones, just sometnin between skinny and tube – leg fitted.

2., Mark hem line

• Mark where pinned.• I will won’t touch the

lenght, so I open up the bottom part too.

• I used to mark where to sew with a tiny piece of dired soap – too small to use, but handy now!

3., Mark both sides

• I really don’t like to use a ruler or measuring tape sometimes, so I layed both legs on each other, folded the bottom one by the pins, and marked the other leg.

5., Sewing (first stitch)

6., Second stitch

• Mark a straight line paralell to the already made stitch, leave approx 3-5 mm between them, sew it, but still don’t cut the leftover!

7., Zig-zag ;)

• Where my hand is – that’s the inner stitch, the first one I’ve made.

• When second one is ready, place a zig-zag stitch – closer to that one what will be cut.

• See what I have marked, or next slide for to be understood.

10., How it looks when ready

• ;)• I hope I could help You!• I have been searching

for tutorials, found lots, but did not liked them, so I decided to make one.

• I used 2 paralell stitches and a zig-zag stitche to avoid ravel.

Djongi• I started to sew for fun, and looking always for something unique to

have… I remember that since years I always had to take something to fix – and got fed up! I can do it too! I have found a simple Singer 8280 and surprised myself for X-mas. I have learned few basic things from my best friend – thanks Vivi!, from the internet and from looking at my clothes…. I always miss tutorials with good details! If you make one, think that others could learn something and that you can help too!

• Enjoy it, don’t rush… take your time and have fun!• Create something that you like, if you wear it and others ask where

you got it from, be proud of yourself that You made it!

Take care ;)Djongi
