Student leadership opportunities in all schools. Increased number of qualified high school students enrolled in Honors & Advanced Placement courses. • Anti-bullying Initiative Cultural proficiency training for all staff to address the needs of our increasingly diverse student population. PRIDE Academy: second chance for expelled students Golden Bell Award from California School Boards Association: Construction Engineering Academy (2010) and Lincoln Latin Leadership (2011) Promoted college culture through partnerships with the University of Pacific Preserved the arts, athletics, and music programs Rising test scores in many schools Maintained a healthy budget throughout difficult economic times Commitment for the Future: 1. Student academic success for all students 2. Ensure the safety of staff and students. 3. Ensure that Measure A bond dollars are spent efficiently. 4. Committed to preserving the arts, athletics, music, and vocational education programs. 5. Improve technology in classrooms. 6. Continue to make prudent decisions for a balanced budget.
