23+ Thingshttp://blogs.exeter.ac.uk/openexeterrdm/blog/category/holistic-librarian/

• Where could a researcher go to get help writing a data management plan?• Have you got an institutional research data policy: if so, what does it say and

where does it sit in wider policy structures? How does it compare to that of University of Manchester? If there is not one, is there one in preparation?

• Has your institution done a DAF survey? If so, what were some of the key results? If not try and find the outcomes of one done at a comparable institution: what findings stand out?

• Which criteria could a researcher use to select which research data they need to preserve in the long-term?

• A researcher wants to archive sensitive research data securely for long-term preservation. What options do they have?

• Which factors could affect the Intellectual Property Rights of a dataset? Where can you find guidance on this?
