Football Fans...

Welcome to another season of Yellowjacket football at Rochester Community and Technical College! On behalf of the football team, coaches, students, faculty, and staff, thank you for your support.

I also welcome you to the Rochester Regional Stadium, home of the Yellowjacket football and soccer teams, numerous high school and youth teams, and a wide variety of athletic competitions and community activities. This beautiful facility is only possible because of the City of Rochester, local community organizations, and fund-raising efforts of our Foundation. RCTC has a strong history of providing rich, whole-person college experiences typically found at four-year universities, and on our campus students can choose from a variety of student life programs to make connections with other students, develop leadership and life skills, and of course, be part of the most extensive varsity sports program of any public two-year college in the state. So while on campus, feel free to tour the facilities, study in our library, view our artwork, or just walk the grounds. You’ll be amazed at what you will find at the University Center Rochester campus. Thank you for your support, and GO YELLOWJACKETS!

Head Football Coach—Bill Quistorff is going into his fourth season coaching at RCTC. He began his coaching career at RCTC in 2010 coaching the defensive line. Last season he coached the linebackers and also took over the defensive coordinator position. During that season, he led the Yellowjacket defense to be the number one defense in the MCAC. This will be his

first season taking the reins as Head Coach. Bill is originally from Osakis, Minnesota, where he was a three-sport letter winner and helped lead his football team to the state tournament semi-finals two years in a row. He was an All-State running back as well as an All-State defensive back. He still holds school rushing records for yards in a season (1804) and carries in a season (273). Glomski was part of the top defense in the IFL this year, recording 105 tackles and 9.5 sacks. He started all 15 games and was a team captain the entire season for the Titans. A Minnesota native, Glomski attended Concordia University St. Paul after transferring from Rochester Community and Technical College. As a senior at Concordia in 2010, he was named 1st Team All-NSIC Defense with 73 tackles, 9 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks. Glomski was awarded 2nd Team All-NSIC at linebacker as a junior. Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers Coach—Rob Neumann is beginning his first season with the Yellowjackets. Coach Neumann will be responsible for the quarterbacks and wide receivers for the Yellowjackets. Rob is originally from Winsted, Minnesota, and is a 1999 graduate of Lester Prairie High School, where he still holds the records for most receiving yards (578) and

receiving touchdowns (12) in a season. Rob played college football for the University of Minnesota-Crookston as a wide receiver and also played several years after college at the semi-professional level. He has coaching experience with Winsted Holy Trinity High School, Lester Prairie High School, and was a student assistant at St. Cloud State University in 2011. Currently, Coach Neumann is in his fourth season as the offensive coordinator for the St. Paul Pioneers, the 3-time defending NEFL champions and the 2012 defending National Champions. In his spare time, Rob works in the Rochester School District and will be finishing his degree in Special Education in the near future.

Running Back Coach—Zim Kratochvil is starting his first year of coaching at RCTC. Kratochvil had played the previous two years with the Yellowjackets in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He was a motivational leader and team captain during his player duration. Zim took on Linebacker duties as a Yellowjacket and garnered All-Region awards in the MCAC conference and

received multiple scholarship offers. Prior to his RCTC career, he graduated early from Sauk Prairie High School in the winter of 2010. As a player there, he played both Fullback and Linebacker for the Eagles. In the 2009 and 2010 seasons he earned All-Badger North honors. At Sauk Prairie, Coach Kratochvil was coached by former Air Raid guru and Valparaiso University 1AA National Championship Coach Tom Horne. Through him, Zim learned many skills and key motivational aspects useful for a player and a coach. Kratochvil carried forward these skills and worked for the youth football community as a Running Back/Linebacker coach for both the RCTC and Marcus Sherels youth camps and will continue his coaching passion with RCTC. Due to unfortunate circumstances, he was unable to further his personal football career. However, the endeavor for football excellence has fueled Coach Kratochvil’s hunger for a successful 2013 Yellowjacket season.

Defensive Backs Coach—Diamond Weaver is entering his first year as a coach and first year at RCTC. He is originally from Mobile, Alabama, where he attended W.P. Davidson High School and played varsity football and ran track. year level. He attended Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, California, from 2007-2009. During this time Santa Rosa was ranked in the Top 10 junior colleges in the nation on the Division I level and received invitations to bowl games. Diamond was an all-conference defensive back along with being ranked a three-star recruit by both rivals.com and scout.com. For his efforts on and off the field, Diamond was named student-athlete of the year at Santa Rosa; he received his Associates’s Degree in social science and had fifteen scholarship offers. Diamond accepted a scholarship from the University of Akron where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. After short stints in the National Football League, Canadian Football League, Arena Football League, and Indoor Football League, Diamond decided to pursue a coaching career.

RCTC is large enough to be able to provide countless opportunities for students to take their college experience beyond the traditional classroom. But RCTC is small enough for students to immediately engage and become actively involved. Performing arts, sports and fitness, student clubs and organizations provide RCTC students with more options than you would expect at a two-year college.

For the most up-to-date student clubs and organizations listing, visit us online at: www.rctc.edu/studentlife/clubs/

Expect community. Get involved!

Affirmative Action: It is RCTC’s policy that no person shall be discriminated against in the terms and conditions of employment, personnel practices, and access to or participation in, programs, services, and activities with regard to race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status with regards to public assistance, sexual orientation, or membership or activity in a local commission as defined by law.

Title IX Statement: It is the policy of Rochester Community and Technical College not to discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national or ethnic origin, age, marital status, sex or handicap as required by Title IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as applied in admissions policies, educational programs, activities and employment practices. The designated Affirmative Action Officer is the Chief Human Resources Officer. The designated coordinator for compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is the Director of Disability Services. The Director of Disability Services is also the designated coordinator for compliance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972.

OCR Corrective Actions: Lack of English skills should not be a barrier to admission or participation. In order to eliminate barriers we take appropriate measures to assess each student’s ability to participate and benefit through placement testing and counseling. Based on the assessment and counseling, students are then provided with campus services or a referral to community services to be better prepared for successful participation.
