RCPCH e-learning workshop Library Room 2, 1400-1530 This interactive workshop will discuss the benefits of e-learning as well as introduce you to several RCPCHresources available to support your CPD. RCPCH e-learningsessions are designed to take you up to 30 minutes to complete, and cover a wide range of topics including:• Safeguarding Children & Young People (levels 1, 2, 3)• Healthy Child Programme (helping to implement policy) • Adolescent Health Programme (age appropriate care)
Towards better growth charts – using and improving UK growth charts SS0.21, 1730-1830 Workshop to update paediatricians on the use of the new UK-WHO growth charts (0-4years) and review drafts of newschool-age charts in development, with associated charttools. The session will mix didactic teaching with plotting exercises and discussion. The session will look particularly at assessment of growth across puberty and the use of BMIcharts. The views canvassed will be used to inform thedesign process for the new charts to be published by theRCPCH in 2011-12.
