Rear Panel
RCMS2811-240E4FE is a stand-alone multi-
service FiberMux with 4 xed FE ports at the
front and 4 slots at the rear for different servicesub-cards. Up to 8x2Mbps of service from
different sub-cards can be transmitted over
ber optic link along with 1 wire-speed FE
channel. The ber optic link is an 1+1 protection
link with two ber optic ports, providing high
transmission reliability. Different sub-cards can
work in one RCMS2811-240E4FE providing
users with the exibility of transmitting different
kinds of service over the ber optic link. The
device is an ideal transmission device for point-
to-point networks, medium-sized and small
capacity networks like wireless communication
base stations, private communication networks
and switch networks. RCMS2811-240E4FE canbe deployed either in a point-to-point application
(2 RCMS2811-240E4FE point-to-point or as
the remote site of RCMS2812-240FE), or in
an aggregation application (as the the remote
site of RC3000-15 series and OPCOM3500E
serise). The device can be managed via the
CONSOLE port at the front panel. It can also be
SNMP managed as the remote site RCMS2812-
240FE, RC3000-15 series and OPCOM3500E
series via RC006 EMS, RC3000-15 EMS and
OPCOM3500E EMS.
