GymnasiumHealthy mind stays in healthy body, campus hostel maintains a

well-equipped gymnasium for it. RCEW Gym is dedicated

towards improving the health, fitness and wellbeing of our

students. We have well-equipped power gym and hydraulic gym

with the latest multiple machines.

Bank & ATMAn extension counter of AXIS Bank with ATM is in college

premises to withdraw money within the campus and for

maintaining a saving account with the bank. The facility of loan is

also provided by the banks in order to provide education loan

Central Library occupies a place of pride in RCEW Jaipur andis an essential place of the institute's outstanding research andeducation mission. The mission of the Central Library is to

The Institute has a spacious and well equipped library whichis being run according to online public access catalog sytem

(OPAC). It has rich collection of about 30,000 volumes ofbooks, periodicals, reports and reference materials. Our library

also has online journals like IEEE, ACM, AMSC, SPRINGER andASME. The book bank facility is also available for the students.

E-portal of library is having all the facilities like access to journals& references, previous year question papers, suggested books,

Institute Regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging.

Ragging is a criminal offence as per the Supreme Court verdict.

Raggingisanoffenceundersection498a.oftheIndianPenalCodeandRGUHSNotificationNo.AUTH/427/2009-201dated01.8.2009, which defines ragging as :

"Causing inducing, compelling or forcing a student, whether by

the way of practical joke or otherwise, to do any act whichdetracts from human dignity or violates his/her personal dignity

or exposes him/her to ridicule from doing any lawful act, Byintimidating him or by using criminal force on him/her or by

holding out to him/her any threat of intimidation, wrongfulconfinement, injury or the use of criminal force."

"Ragging in all its forms is totally banned at RCEW including in

its departments, constituent units, all its premises (academic,residential, sports and cafeteria whether located within the

campus or outside and in all means of transportation of

students whether public or private. The institution shall take strictaction including but not limited to criminal proceeding and/orcancellation of admission against those found guilty of proof

shall hereby lie on the perpetrator of alleged ragging and noton the victim. An offence of Ragging may be charged either on

a written complaint by the affected or on independent finding by

the Anti-Ragging Squad. The Institution is bound by theAICTE / UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in

Higher Educational Institutions 2009."

Complying with the directives of the Honorable Supreme CourtofIndiaandRGUHSNotificationdatedNo:AUTH/427/2009-2010 dated 1.8.2009 and DCI Notification No: 167-2008/A10119 dated 27.3.2009; an Anti-Ragging Squad is formed for

overseeing the implementation of the recommendations of theAnti-Ragging Verdict.

This squad comprising teaching faculty/Supporting staff,

administrators and woman representatives (various sections ofthe campus community) will have vigil, oversight and patrolling

functions. It will be mobile, alert active at all times and isempowered to periodically inspect the places of potential

ragging. It will make surprise raids on hostels and other hotspots. The squad shall investigate incidents of ragging, make

recommendations to the Institution level Anti-Raggingcommittee and shall work under the overall guidance of the said

committee.

Punishments against Ragging: Depending upon the natureand gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging

Committee of the Institution, the possible punishments for thosefound guilty of ragging shall be any one or any combination of

the following:

Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abet-ting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution, shall

resort to collective punishment as deterrent to ensurecommunity pressure on the potential raggers.

In addition, in case of every single incident of ragging, A First

Information Report (FIR) will be filed with the local policeauthorities. The possible punishment includes rigorous

imprisonment (incompliance with the order of Supreme Courtof India) In the case of any ragging incident, the students may

immediately call and bring it to the notice of the authorities fornecessary help, guidance andaction.

The freshers / Junior students are hereby instructed that they

should immediately report the matter to the authorities, shouldnot participate in any kind of "Introduction meet" anywhere

inside/outside the campus, desist from doing anything against

their will event if ordered by the seniors and that they shouldimmediately report the matter to the authorities. The students

have nothing to fear as the institution cares for them and shallnot tolerate any atrocities.
