MENU Brings up the Main menu.

UsingAutomatic Code SearchThe following instructions can be usedto program theremote to operate each of your components. If you want tostop the automatic code searchwithout programming any ofyour components, pressCL[AR until the indicator on theremote turns off.I.

Pressand hold the component button you want toprogram [VCRor DVD),While holding the componentbutton, pressand hold ON*OFFuntil the indicator on theremote turns on, then releaseboth buttons.

Point the remote at the component. Pressand releasePLAY,then wait 5 seconds or until the indicator on theremote stops flashing.

At this point the remote is searching for the correct codeto program. If, after 5 seconds,the component you wantto operate does not turn off, pressPLAYagain to tell theremote to searchthe next set of codes.

Continue pressing PLAYuntil the component turns off oryou have searchedthrough all of the codes.There are 20total sets of codes.If the component does not turn offafter pressingPLAY20 times, then the remote can't be

programmed to operate that component.if the component you want to operate does turn off:

1. Pressand releaseREVERSE, hen wait 2 seconds. Repeatthis step until the device turns backON.

2. To finish, pressand hold STOPuntil the indicator on theremote turns off.

MPAA RATING LIMIT

The MPAARATINGmenu lets Wu decide which movies can and can't be viewed according to the age-basedrating of the MPAA(Motion Picture Association of America).The _ locksand unlocks the parentalcontrol settings using a passwordyou select.

The Remote Control Doesn't Work

Something might be betweerl the remote arid the remote serlsor on the eomponerlt. Make sure there is aclear path.

Maybe the remote iso*t aimed directly at the componer_t (DUD,TV,VCR) that you're trying to operate.

Maybe remote is not in IV Mode. Pressthe IV button so remote will control IV.
