BLUE FLAG AND SEAL OF QUALITY RAISE

In October 21st Reserva Conchal earned the Blue Flag in the Three Stars category and the Flag of Water Quality Stamp of Four Stars category.

Joining us for this activity were the gentlemen Arcelio Chavez from the Ecological Blue Flag Program and Luis Barrantes from Sanitary Quality Seal. They delivered these two precious awards as a result of the company and all the staff efforts. We all have been involved in this process, and we will continue working in pursuit of important recognitions like this.

Reserva Conchal has been working on this program in different schools in the area, and has decided to extend coverage to the category of Community, involving waste management, forest fire brigade and sewage treatment, as well as indicating tree species and prevention signs not to feed wild animals.

Special guests Kevin Calderon RC employee, Ms. Gabriela Meza Environment and Communities Reserva Conchal Manager, Manuel Rios Operation Manager Reserva Conchal, Arcelio Chavez representing ecological blue flag, Luis Barrantes from sanitary quality seal and Jorge Moreno RC employee.


Independence Tournament

“We celebrate Independence at Reserva Conchal Style”Last saturday, September 17th, was held for the third consecutive year the Independence Tournament, with the additional support of Florida Bebidas, Banco de Costa Rica, Yellow Fin, YAMAHA, Reserva Conchal Condominiums, Hotel Bahía del Sol, TV Golf and Guanacaste a la Altura Newspaper, the 72 golf players competed for the first three places of the competition.

It is important to mention some golfers from Nicaragua that traveled to Costa Rica just for this particular activity. Some guests of the Westin Hotel participated as well.

The format Medal play full handicap, gave the opportunity for men and women to be crowned in two categories as champions. The golf course was in excellent conditions. At the end started raining for few minutes; however this did not affect the players. The closing ceremony was held at the Beach Club with a great lunch and excellent service.

We would like to congratulate the winners and invite you to participate next year in this excellent event.

Friends and Family Access Right (Golf y Club de Playa)

As result of the efforts of Reserva Conchal Managers and a committee represented by respected residents of our community, we will have a new pass available for friends, family and temporal residents of the Resort.

Access RightReserva Conchal will continue it’s Exclusiveness, Security and Service living style. We will offer this Access Right to friends and friend families of our community members. These Access Rights will be available only for people referred by residents of the Resort. The actual members should refer and endorse their friends or families to acquire Right of Access to Reserva Conchal, which will be valid for one year. The decision of renewals would be analyzed by Reserva Conchal when the acess expires.

Access to Golf Courses:

Prices: $ 6,000 $ 3,900 annually or biannual.

Access to Beach Club:

Long-term renters in Reserva Conchal

Long-term renters will also be able to opt for a right of access to the Beach Club and Golf Club.

We are pleased to inform all owners that as part of our improvements, we are renewing all our golf cars. We will have new electric Precedent l2 2012 Club Car.

Maid service, housekeeping

Please be advised that all owners at Reserva Conchal have the residential cleaning service at their disposal, we will provide one of our housekeeper well-trained attendants.

As a reminder, those owners who are used to request Reserva Conchal to turn on their A/C units prior arrival, it must be ordered by sending an email to [email protected]. This is a green-energy saving policy.

Condominium key request

If an owner of Villa or Condomium wants to request us to extend a key of your unit to a third party, it has to be demanded by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. This service will havea$5chargeperkey.

Beach Club

Opening credit for consumption to owners or renters at the Beach Club

We remind all Beach Club members, owners or renters, to open credit for the restaurant of the Beach Club or Golf Shop. Please approach to the Rental Office to open a credit account. If you do not have credit, you will not be able to charge your comsuption and must cancel cancel your bills directly on the Beach Club or Golf Shop. This is effective from current date.

Property accounts are for the payment of fees and expenditure management of the condominium and is independent of the consumption.


Security

MAIN ENTRANCE ACCESS CONTROL

• Homeowners

We remind all owners that the entry or exit in the right line its exclusively for owners with access card. If you do not have your card, please stop at the left line, and identify yourself with the officer. If you do not have your access card yet feel free to request for it at the Rentals Office.

• Renters

All renters who have contracts for more than three months may apply for the access card at the Rentals Office. This card would be valid on the same dates as the contract. In order to get the card, the condominium’s owner should provide a note indicating the terms and contract’s period.

• Sale of Properties

The initial Owner has the responsibility of provide a notification to the Operations Manager Department regarding the official sale of their properties as well as to provide the new owner’s complete information. This information is necessary to update our system, welcome new owners and coordinate established payments.

AUTHORIZATION OF ENTRANCE

• Guests All owners of Reserva Conchal should provide a list of all guests and authorized persons who visit its properties (condos and houses) regularly. That list should be delivered in the main entrance, or through e-mail [email protected].

• Personal Trainers, Property Managers Please be advised that you should send an authorization for personal trainers and property managers to enter the property and renew it at the beginning of each month, to properly control the Resort access.

Gardening/ Landscaping

Reserva Conchal Master Condominium announces that is generating compost (Bokashi) for all gardens in Reserva Conchal and the Westin Hotel as a committed service for the community. This fertilizer is generated from the organic waste of the Beach Club’s kitchens. This will be so positive for our environment, while help soil regeneration, water retention and overall plants nutrition.

Organic Fertilizers Park is located on the nursery premise, and its open to visitors with scheduling appointment. Please email: [email protected] for further information.

NURSERY:

Another improvement we are implementing is the plants generation at the nursery. We are then replanting these in all Condominiums green areas.

All our plants have an element called hidrokeeper, which is a gel that absorbs water and releases it when the plant needs it. This allows us to make better use of irrigation in the summer. Currently we are focusing on producing base for gardens. However, we are also working to keep plants in pots so they can be used for events or seasons. Once the plant begins to deteriorate, it is moved to the nursery for care and it’s replaced with another plant.
