New Army of Rotaractors Takes Charge

Another show of Women Empowerment was exhibited on Sunday 24th July

when the Army of Rotaract Club of Baroda Metro sworn in. (Major

General) Krishna Tiwari and (Brigadier) Dhriti Agrawal took the charge as

the President and Secretary respectively. IPDRR Gaurav Shah was the

installing officer. Krishna in her acceptance speech shared the plan for the

year 2016-17 and assured that the

projects initiated in the previous

year will be continued. IPP

Tirthank Rana gave a glimpse of

the projects like R Eco Drive,

Bowl-a-thon etc. undertaken

during the year 2015-16. He ended

his speech with a nice tagline

“Live for your team, Make your

team alive”. Rtn. Alok Desai in

his motivational speech said that

he was himself impressed and

inspired with the work done by the

Rotaractors.

RBM Ritual – Taking a ‘HOLY’ Dip

On the last Sunday of July’16 the ‘Manzil’ for all RBMites was Mount

Heritage Resort located at the foothills of Pavagadh. It was drizzling in the

morning and the climate was just perfect for a Picnic. It was a beautiful

resort with a swimming pool and a zip line in addition to an open space for

children to play. The total count was about 65 including the spouses and the

children of Rotarians. The day was full of fun and frolic and fellowships.

While some tried to kick the football, some were busy playing Sattodiyu.

Many ventured into the adventurous activities. Some went UP and came

DOWN the zip line. Alongside RBM celebrated the Birthday of Rtn.

Bhushan Tathed and Mr. Nagesh Chavan. The latter is associated with the

Social Science Project with RBM for the past 4 years. Women folk took out

time to portray their strength. It was indeed a memorable day with the resort

setting a perfect ambiance and serving delicious food.
