ThelithologicalvarietyoftheupperbasinofEresmafavorsthepresenceofaremarkablevarietyofrocksandmineralsinitsbed,whichhavebeenusedfordifferentpurposesinthe ChaînesOpératoires developed by differentNeanderthal groups in the rockshelter.Morphology,hardness, sizeor the facility tobeknappedofeveryoneof thesematerialshavemadethedifferentrawmaterialsappropriatefordifferentobjectives.
The presence of endogenous and exogenous materials, together with the selection ofthem,accordingtotheircharacteristics,showsahighdegreeofselectionandplanningoftheactivitiescarriedoutinAbrigodelMolino.
