“Engagex considers Raving Next: Indian Gaming Analytics and Marketing Conference

the industry’s flagship conference each year! We are constantly looking for new opportunities to grow within Tribal gaming. The most impactful opportunities happen

when we are able to meet with potential casino clients in person in order to understand

some of their challenges and how our services offer solutions to these challenges. This

conference is an extremely valuable resource for Engagex to do just that. Raving is one of

the most trusted resources in the Tribal gaming. Raving’s conference is always well attended by Tribal casinos.”

Daniel Wood, VP Business Development, Engagex

What makes this Raving Conference different

than the “big” tradeshows for exhibitors:

• Targeted and engaged audience: our format is

different than all other conferences

• We encourage, in fact, we WANT exhibitors to get

out of their booths and attend sessions, network

at our first-class luncheons, activities and evening

events.

• We provide the attendee list on request, so you can make personal appointments and meals with

clients prior to event.

• You don’t have to pay extra for marketing: attendees see your company description & logo in

program guide, on the dedicated conference web page with links to your website and all signage at

the event.

• Attendees will notice your support: Tribal casinos do recognize exhibitors who have made the time

and financial commitment and know that if you’re invested in a Raving conference, you’ll invest in

their success as well.

What comes with booth sponsorships:

• Furniture – your booth comes with an 8’ x 30” skirted table, two standard chairs & waste paper

basket, electricity and wireless internet

• Two full access conference passes per 10x10 booth; five passes for 10x20 booth

• Back drape and a side drape

• Logo on all digital and printed signs

• Two buffet breakfasts and two sit-down lunches with attendees

• No drayage or handling fee – saves you hundreds $$$

• Built-in networking events: Monday Exhibitor’s Welcome Reception, Tuesday Night “Conversations &

Cocktails” and Wednesday Insider Party

• Raving Play – our interactive website – game participation

The straight scoop and keys to a better tradeshow ROI: We know exhibiting at industry tradeshows is expensive. We do it to! So, we choose our conferences selectively as well. Here’s how we decide if we attend: 1. Does this conference attract our clients and

prospects? It’s got to be a good fit.

2. Do we get access to an attendee list? Most

tradeshows don’t allow this due to strict privacy penalties. We will continue to give our exhibitors and

sponsors access to this until our attendees call “foul.”

3. How do we use the attendee list? We don’t leave our business development waiting for attendees to

visit our booth. We utilize the list and book dinners and coffee and cocktails before we get to the

tradeshow floor. We do these invites through personal invites; not eblasts inviting them to our booth

– that’s when exhibitor messages get put in the junk and spam folders.

4. How do we connect with attendees before the show in other ways? We post our involvement on

our website and social media pages. We ask current clients if they are attending and offer to pay their

registration fee or give them a discount coupon if the tradeshow allows this. Raving has discount

coupons for our sponsors and exhibitors.

5. Super important, if folks aren’t on the tradeshow floor, how do we get more facetime? When the

tradeshow floor isn’t active or when folks are in sessions, we go where they go. We divide and

conquer at luncheon tables and at cocktail receptions. We sit with attendees at roundtables and

attend lectures and presentations – this gives us a better understanding of our client’s issues, see

what questions they are asking and also gives us a chance to mingle in the classroom. Raving includes

and encourages exhibitors to participate in every activity, you are not restricted to the floor!

6. What are our expectations for closing a deal at the show or right after? We understand that any

sales cycle begins with a relationship and we know that we won’t “get ink” immediately. When we’re

in front of a potential client, we listen to why they are at the conference, we get to know them

personally. We don’t scare them away going into our sales pitch.

7. How do we follow up? Sure, some folks may reply in brief to our follow up emails, but they do reply!

Why? Because we took the time to craft a personal email and that helps us continue conversations in

the future.

Bottom line: Is this the right tradeshow for you? If our attendee profile fits your product or service

demographic; if you want to work with a conference organizer that gives you every opportunity to

connect with attendees; then, please join us this year and experience what makes this Raving

conference an attendee and exhibitor favorite (we sell out every year and have a 75% reengagement

rate with our exhibitors).

Why Raving? We’re proud to a be Native-owned, full-service gaming and hospitality resource that has worked with clients globally since 1998. Our commitment to Indian Country creates the foundation of our Raving philosophy to enrich the lives of those we serve. We’ve been an active Associate member of the National Indian Gaming Association since 2002. What makes us unique? We understand, from years of work on the casino floor, the challenges & sticky situations gaming executives face. Not every firm truly understands the gaming industry or the needs of its guests; we’ve worn out shoe leather alongside you. Having trained and worked with thousands of casino employees from senior management to frontline staff, we believe in the importance of ongoing education. Raving has been the industry-leader and shares our wealth of experience through conferences, including the annual Raving NEXT: Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference and Raving’s Host Development Conference. We also share through our weekly Industry Report and quarterly magazine, Raving Solutions.

Raving’s Commitment to Our Community We believe in celebrating and acknowledging the contributions of both Tribal and Commercial organizations to their communities. We also believe in the importance of creating a positive impact on future generations. This is an inherent part of our culture at Raving. We recognize the contributions of Native American casinos through our annual Tribal Spirit of Giving Celebration at a Luncheon during Raving NEXT. Tribal governments have a history of uncommon generosity and support in their communities. However, most often, few outside these communities are aware of these success stories and the valuable work that is being accomplished. Our goal is not only to recognize that generosity but to increase public awareness. Tribal Scholarship and Mentorship Program 2018 during Raving NEXT. It is critical that Tribal members are engaged in discussions about the future of this competitive and complex industry. As a native-owned business, we want to ensure there are opportunities for future leaders to have a seat at the table. Raving offers the opportunity for up to five eligible tribal members to attend, at no registration cost, Raving NEXT: Indian Gaming Analytics and Marketing Conference. Our partnership with the Notah Begay III Foundation We are committed to leveraging our many positive relationships in gaming to raise funds and awareness for the critically important work of NB3F addressing obesity and type 2 diabetes among Native American youth. Through Raving NEXT, we donate $100 per attendee registration. This is one of several events we hold during the year.
