The influx of

refugees from

recently plague

ridden areas

surrounding Rathole

have been streaming

in now for several

days. Abandoned

houses and shops are

being claimed and

new ones are being

built. These fresh residents will inject

fresh life into Rathole‟s stagnant

economy as well as providing new

adventurers to search in the Deep Six

for treasure. Local traders have been

first to see their situation turn around

“with so many more cust omers to buy

my junk ..er..I mean treasured

collectables of a bygone age, I won‟t

have to eat slug stew, slug kabobs,

sluggy gumbo or even slug-o-van

anymore!!” Claimed Local merchant

The newest gang to throw their

hat into the ring came up short in the luck department when it came to a

recent skirmish near Bodken‟s Chemical

Slurry Corp recently. The Riot Grrlz had

approached Ze Germans in an attempt

to form an alliance to take hold of the

lucrative corpse starch trade in Rathole.

The Crafty Delaques had offered to

parley with the Grrlz in the location of

their choice. The Grrlz felt that a

mutually dangerous location may keep

the chance of attack to a minimum,

however they were wrong! The Delaques

opened up, guns blazing at the unwary

Eschers, causing several ruptures in the

chemical tanks above. The surprised

Eschers were rained upon by industrial

adhesive, making several of them lose

their footing, most notably was the

Escher Heavy who was drenched head to

toe in the thick ooze casing her to

tumble from her high perch to the

ground below. Unfortunately for her the

glue had begun to set, covering her nose

and mouth she was helpless to avoid the

bizarre fate of being permanently glued

to the superstructure of the dome preserved like a mosquito in amber for

many generations to come. The Riot

Grrlz returned fire to little effect,

knocking some of the Delaques off their

feet by punching their own holes in the

tank, but by this point the majority of

the glue had already seeped out onto

the Grrlz heavy. The Grrlz could not

withstand the accurate hail of fire that

confronted them and they decided to

withdraw. Ze Germans triumphantly

walked in to the Riot Grrlz ruins and

set the locals straight on who runs

things!

At this point the Riot Grrlz

returned to their hide out to re-assess

their current situation. When asked for

comment The Grrlz leader said that

“perhaps they would simply go away to

retool their current membership and

return invigorated and ready for new

challenges”. This reporter thinks that‟s

just fancy talk for “we‟re quitting”.

In a brazen ambush yesterday, the

„Eadbangers tried to seize some of the

Guilty Gears‟ territory, hoping they

were still knackered from their recent

bloodbath against the zombie horde. The

Guilty Gears were more than ready for

the ambush however, sending their

famous pit fighter out to seek out his

personal enemy the Mangler, leader of

the „Eadbangers. Sneaking up behind the

unwary Goliath with an accomplice the

pit fighter sprang into combat,

promptly losing a large portion of his

right hand to the Mangler ‟s chainsword .

The Ambush was hard fought and

bloody, eventually the Goliath leader

realized that their simply wasn‟t enough

of his raiders in fighting shape to seize

any territory so they grabbed their

downed compatriots and withdrew. It

wasn‟t until sometime later that the

Goliaths realized that their leader was

nowhere to be found.

The Guilty Gears had cornered the

Mangler and brought him to their

hideout to administer a punitive beating

in revenge for the slaying of all of the

Gears‟ juves. On top of that the

feared pit fighter in the employ of the

Van Saar decided to go elsewhere to

seek employment, somewhere far away

from the „Eadbangers!. After some

dealing though the Mangler was set free,

minus his once prized chainsword.

While scavenging in their old ruins

on the northern outskirts of Rathole,

the new Riot Grrlz were set upon by a

disorganized mob of freaks, mutants and

malodorous thugs. “We were minding

our own business when we heard hacking

coughing from nearby, when we went to

check out the commotion we found a

gathering of terrible freaks sifting

around in our territory. We were

obliged to teach them a lesson..so we

shot the hell out of „em, but good!!”

said Miranda, the Riot Grrlz leader.

The mutants took to their heels leaving

only the words “Festering Brotherhood”

painted on the wall.
