Raspberries are grown on canes and are either handpicked or commercially grown.

This is an important crop to agriculture because they are one of the main berries, used for jams ,jellies, yogurt, pies, ice cream, and many other sweets and foods.

In Oregon were ranked 33 in producing raspberries and make 13,082,000 a year. Nationally were ranked one for the production of black raspberries and we produce 100% of them. For red raspberries were ranked two and are responsible for 8% of the total production.

No its not grown commercially but many people have private plants.
