  • Initial Replication model was to test the efficacy

Under this the customization of each application was done individual state

specific who have opted for the applications

As future model all these applications are getting productized as generic

applications which will be core customizable and configurable by the end

    user.

Scope for minimum customization( 5 to 10%) may still exist specific to

state and is envisaged in the scope of work

Productized applications will be hosted on e Gov App Store with a demo

link for states to test and come out with requirements and acceptablity

These applications will also be run as SaaS model once GI cloud is

    implemented.

    Way Forward

  • e Gov App Store

  • The e Gov App Store aims to be a national level common repository

of productized applications , components and web services that can

be re-used by various Govt. agencies/departments at Centre and in

the states with a vision to accelerate delivery of e services as

envisaged under NeGP and optimize the ICT spending of the

    Government.

Core and Common applications that have high demand and are

replicable across the central and state levels are to be available on the

e Gov Store which shall be hosted on the National Cloud.

    What is eGov AppStore

  • Our Approach

    Establishment of AppStore Framework

    NIC AppStore launch

Augmentation of NIC AppStore to establish National eGov AppStore

    Agency

    Empanelled Agencies

    Application Consumers

An entire eco-system shall be built up to augment the NIC AppStore to establish

    the National eGov AppStore

  • Presently, the eGov AppStore is a repository of NIC

applications and components developed for specific

    requirement of States.

Most of these applications are not yet in productized form.

Going ahead, some of the popular applications will be

productized and made available on the eGov AppStore.

eGov AppStore will be augmented to include applications and

components developed by departments/agencies at Centre

    and States including private players.

A complete eco-system to run the eGov AppStore as a market

place will be established with an appropriate business model.
