• Rapallo sanzio da urbino was born on march 28,1483 or on April 6, 1483.

• He died on April 6, 1520 at the age of 37 In Rome – Italy .

• Raphael was an Italian citizen

What was his famous painting??

• One of Raphael ‘s famous painting that was placed in Apostolic –palace in Rome. The painting was called {The School Of Athens } it was made in the early days between (1509-1510)

What is the painting ?

The medium that was used in the painting was Frisco which is amoral painting used for walls and ceilings. The painting contains students wearing ancient Romanians cloths . they are every where on the painting, with books in their hands .

• I choose this painting because it is one of his most famous paintings . I also wanted to know more about the painting ,and why was it placed in a palace.
