Rapeedech Kulabusaya | Composer, Producer, Music Director Rapeedech graduated from College of Music Mahidol University major in Western Music Composition. After graduated, he studied music composition for media and theatre privately with Sinnapa Sarasas, one of the leading Thai contemporary composer, and started his career as an in-house composer for Studio28 from 2005. Apart from producing commercial music work for various artists and medias, Rapeedech also produced serious works for art exhibition, theatre and performance, he won Young Thai Artist Award in 2007 for his composition for traditional Thai music ensemble and continue to use traditional materials in his later works. His interest has leaned towards music and sound design for theatre in the later years working with many indie theatre troops and major theatre productions, his notable musical theatre work was “Klaikungwon Musical on the Beach (2013, 2015)” which he composed and was the music director, his producing role in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch Thailand (2014)”, he currently gives lecture in musical theatre at Bangkok University and College of Music Mahidol University. In 2014 he became managing director for 28 Production as part of Studio28 after been working with the company for 10 years, focusing on music producing, orchestral recording and musical shows.
